  1. Did you guys make the ride? If so post up some pics if you have any, sounds like it was a wild event.
  2. That's pretty cool. Looks like a very quick and efficiant way to drain the fluid.
  3. I'm actually partial to the red and white....... but since your wanting a different color my vote is for the black also. Black and red go great together.
  4. That sounds like a great idea, I haven't had a chance to do it yet today because I've had a few things come up. (holiday related) I will do that tomorrow, that should get it all out for sure. I only got 1 gallon of distilled last night so I'll go ahead and pick up another one. I actually don't think it should have much build-up because I haven't put a whole lot of run time on it since adding the spring-water, so hopefully I shouldn't need the cleaner. Thanks alot for the suggestion, I'll do that tomorrow afternoon.
  5. Thanks for the info, guys. I picked up some distilled water last night and I'm changing it out this morning.
  6. lol Nick might want to think about quickly moving to another kingdom!
  7. Thanks, I don't have a compressor, but my Father in law will probably let me use his. That sounds like it would work good. I appreciate the tip.
  8. Thanks for the reply. I installed a coolhead awhile back, and when I went to get some distilled water they didn't have any, so I got the spring water not thinking it mattered. Well, I just found out that that wasn't the best thing, so I'm wanting to drain and get rid of all of it and replace it with the right water/coolant mix. Does the resevoir bottle have circulated coolant in it? I know that every now and then it shows a little low and I add some to it. It can be completely removed?
  9. Hey guys, I'm planning on draining the coolant and wanting to know if anybody can give any tips on COMPLETELY draining it. I'm wanting to put in a fresh mix of distilled water/coolant. Now when I installed my coolhead, I just removed the bottom radiator hose and the bolts on the side of the cylinders.... but I don't think that fully drained the system, plus theres the bottle behind the airbox. If anybody has any tips on how I can go about doing this it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, -Jamie
  10. Thanks for the heads up, I will change it out then.
  11. Not trying to threadjack but what about spring water? I couldn't find any distilled water a while back so I used spring water...... will it cause corrosion too?
  12. Man, I'm sorry that happened to you. I know that had to be painful, I hope you have as speedy a recovery as possible.
  13. Sits like a BMW and goes just the right speed..... can't ask for much better than that!
  14. Congrats on making the letters section in the mag, man! I still haven't received my August copy, the mag usually comes in around the 26th-29th of each month. If it doesn't come in by tomorrow I might give them a call.......
  15. Yeah she's a Playboy model, too. They said they picked her straight up from the Playboy mansion where she was busy doing a DIFFERENT kind of photo shoot! That does look alot like your Banshee!
  16. I know what you mean, I don't even comment nice things on there anymore because odds are someone will reply back with something smart contradicting whatever was said or trying to rile somebody up. Yeah I just pretty much watch the videos anymore without commenting.
  17. It must be in the new August edition, I only have the July copy, I don't see a Banshee on that page.
  18. What, in the letters section?
  19. I see nothing wrong with FMF's.
  20. Yeah according to a past issue of Dirtwheels stock for stock (even tires) they were pretty close on sandhill climbing. If your Banshee is modded like that I wouldn't think you'd have too much of a problem staying ahead of him at all.
  21. I purchased a used Warrior from a guy a few years ago without a title. He wrote me a bill of sale with the vin #'s and I just took it into the tag agency and applied for a title. I payed a fee and they went ahead and gave me a registration and I got a title in the mail a couple weeks later. They must do it differently in that state, though. Hopefully you can get it straightened out without having to sell it.
  22. When I wash mine I put a plastic sandwich bag over the intake snorkel. I also do that when hauling it on a trailer. I got caught in a storm one day heading to a riding area and the airbox got water in it. And after that, I'm a firm believer in sandwich bags! Your not using a pressure washer on the motor, are you? I'd check the plug wires and make sure all connections are secure. I haven't had a problem with mine firing after washing it.
  23. Whats the year and does it run good? I'd say as long as it runs fine that it was a great deal. Warriors are decent quads.
  24. I've been getting every issue of QUAD magazine since they came out. They have a poster with a chic in a bikini on a quad in every mag and I noticed they never, ever, featured a Banshee. (always the 450's over and over) Well, this months issue just came and guess what, the legendary Shee finally made the poster!

    Jack or Jill?

An office manager had money problems & had to fire an employee, either Jack or Jill... He thought he'd fire the employee who came late to work the next morning. Well, both employees came to work very early. Then the manager thought he would catch the first one who took a coffee break. Unfortunately, neither employee took a coffee break. Then the manager decided to see who took the longest lunch break - strangely, neither Jack nor Jill took a lunch break that day, they both ate at their desk. Then the manager thought he'd wait & see who would leave work the earliest and both employees stayed after closing. Jill finally went to the coat rack & the manager went up to her & said, "Jill, I have a terrible problem. I don't know whether to lay you or Jack off." Jill said, "Well, you'd better jack off, because I'm late for my bus."
