  1. What he said. After following this thread for a while now it looks like the problem isn't with the info you can get over there and the people that are there. It's the owner of the site and how he operates. I don't know him, never dealt with him, never will deal with him but he appears to be most people's problem with that site. If he is taking parts from sponsors as payment, maybe he should then turn around and sell those parts for the money if he needs it so bad. If each sponsor gave him the money I'm sure he has plenty to keep the site up and running. But if he is just taking parts like someone said (I can't remember but its in this thread somewhere) and using them on his own rides and then bitching about not having enough cash to run the site, thats another deal.
  2. Lookin badass man! It's always a good feeling when it fires up and you know you built it. Just last week I was hoping mine would fire after new carbs and intakes since it hadn't been run since october. 1 kick on new carbs, not bad! Had to play with the jetting a bit and now I'm trying to get the needle set right but it runs good. Oh and I hate you because you got to those pipes before me :verymad: :verymad: :verymad:  Oh well they looked to good for me anyway, glad they got themselves a good shiny home! And whats up with that chevy in the background???? I thought you guys were all Mopar!?!?
  3. How are you finding out the diameters? Do you have a chart or something that shows them. I remember sometime I found a chart that showed all of that and what needles to use with what needle jets. I just cant seem to find it again.
  4. You also machine cylinders and build cranks because your too lazy to buy them! If I could make it to the show and shine I would throw mine on the dyno and see the measly 30 horse that it still makes but I like to wonder. I like to think my banshee is fast but I know it isn't the fastest. Trying not to get caught up in drag racing.
  5. Yeah I saw that. I'm trying to figure out which needles will fit those needle jets. So far I am having no luck on it. I can't find anything that describes what the numbers on the needles all stand for. I can find a list of a bunch of needles for him at sudco, but they don't give diameters of them (that I could find anyway). I think his best bet is to call sudco and they should have a good idea.
  6. I pulled apart one of my carbs and I have 389 Q-2 dump tubes (or needle jets). I have 5FP17 needles. Don't know if that helps any I'll see if I can find some more info on them.
  7. Bump for a good guy! I bought some 35.5 mikuni tm's from him last fall. Great deal!
  8. I'm nearly 6'4" and weigh in at 225 and I like the stock width and the height of my banshee. I can beat it around like it owes me money. Once I cut all my fenders off it didn't feel so small or cramped anymore. The only thing I need is about 3 inches at the bars so it's more comfortable when standing. Your best bet is to go wider. When I ride a banshee with +2+1 arms and a +4 axle and I feel like I'm on a caddy. They are incredibly stable.
  9. I have one in my stock stroke cub and it takes a beating. Still hooks as if it were new.
  10. Sorry to hear that man, keep your head up and keep looking forward. If you need to get out and ride I would suggest a trip to KP....... Jon

  15. Leave it to Firehead to request a closeup picture of someone's hose. Plastics look friggin sick though and that radiator hose ain't half bad either.

  19. I got a sweet deal on that thing didn't I? Soon my banshee will be "on the bottle"
  20. 23 from WY.
  21. hahahahahahaahahah nice
  22. Nice! Plastics are tight man
  23. No problem man, I'm just as confused by that as anybody else. I was just pointing out that I would most likely not have had this problem if I had the 20cc's right away because they have been working fine. It's probably just one of the domes was slightly messed up, or maybe they did move in the head for some reason. I just know its working good now and it didn't before with other parts. If I do come up with anything as to why it happened I'll let you know, I'm just as interested as you are.
