AHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!! I just lost an intake in the last minute. I was gonna get it for under 70 shipped, got in a bid war, finally some dude got it for 112 bux. glad I didn't get bumped up to that.
My filters go straight back so turning them does nothing but thanks for the idea.
Was the seller dunetire? And the ones I keep finding don't have a crossover at all but I don't think that would hurt me at all.
Ok I have some birthday money that's burning a hole in my pocket. I'm looking at getting some intakes to replace the Pro Design ones I have now. I have 34mm Mikunis TM's and the bowl on the left carb rubs on the clutch lever (I bent the lever down but it still rubs a bit) and the pod filters run into my stinger tubes. Are there intakes out there that have a little different tilt to them to fix these problems or should I get a set of reed spacers too to get off of the clutch arm. I don't think Ill get away from the filter hitting the stinger tube though. Also, should I be looking for one with a built in crossover tube? If I go with intakes without the crossover is it going to hurt my motor in any way? I was looking at some Boss Racing intakes w/o the crossover tube. Thanks in advance for any help guys!
Just add that number to your stock stroke.......
+2 is 59mm
+3 is 60mm
+4 is 61mm
If your wondering what displacement it will be you need the bore too.
I think it's funny that others dog Texas and then egg him on......So he's a little outspoken LOL. I wouldn't mind sitting down and having a beer with him, sounds like it would be a good time!
