  1. if your looking to drag ex 201,134 trans shearers will benefit you in the higher durations
  2. fattys with lid no porting no snorkel 240 main stock pilot,1turn out on the screw, needles all the way rich,no lid with k+n 280-290 mains 30 pilot 2turns out leave the needles,
  3. as stated coil, switch plug wires and even try carbs
  4. turn idles all the way in,turn out 8-10 turns and adjust with sync tool,As for jetting with that set up i would start way richer drag ports are no joke with stock cylinders they suck fuel.I would start out 170 main 52 pilot, also make sure your plug caps ohm out with good resistance and make sure your pickup gap is .018-.020,Also gap the plugs at .020.You will fowl plugs with the choke.Did you lpressure test the motor or did K+t.might be a good idea
  5. Fattys like big pilots,if i were you i would slam a 270-280 main in it,put the air screw at 1 turn out put the needle all the way rich that should clear you up,if you still have trouble bump the pilot up,dont get discouraged some bike take more tweeking than others and when you find that sweet spot its worth all the trouble
  6. damn safe starting point but that pilot is going to be rich, might end up a lil lower on main if not ported
  7. Flush would be optimal
  8. I think youll prob get away with a 300 main,i also just tuned a bike with t-6,they liked lean (stock pilot) 1 turn out at sea level
  9. I want the flywheel, stator, axle,to 11783 hook me up with a price an paypal address, the axle is straight im assuming
  10. How do you know it doesnt have an air leak?,start closing the air screws if it starts idling down n wants to stall your not lean on the pilot.wherever you heard that jet croossover number its not close nor do either carbs pull fuel the same way(jet cuircitry
  11. 48-50 pilot 155-160 to start
  12. alumn oxide has had issues tearing up bearing after seeping into metal pores,i use straight up glass and hot tank after then soapy water real hot from sink to make sure grease free
  13. maybe the float got stuck, try tapiing them and opening up screw on bottom of bowls
  14. I have found fatties to like big pilots,30s did the trick on a few set-ups,stock needle 4th clip.As mentioned 340,330,320,but i would talk to jim or give us some durations to help you a lil better,i Have also tuned set ups from passion up to 380 main jets, call him if you cant get a hold of him hit me up
  15. When you put the plug caps on ohm them out for resistance, they should be between 4-7 usually
  16. Do yourself a favor get the cases glass beaded,It makes it look n ew and the mating suirfaces get totally cleaned, its usually 25-35 dollars money well spent in the sceem of things, you need a basket,inner/outerhub,pancake bearing, shift shaft mod,max load on crank, and if your going crazy cut tranny. If you need me to spend any more of your money let me know
  17. Head gasket, but it could be more intailed depending on the cause and effect of riding it
  18. If its a shimm under bucket i wouldnt go any looser than.001 on the outer limit of spec. Now if your just cruising around theres no need to go crazy.I work on alot of inline 4s your readings seems fine ,your rite in the outer limit,I wouldnt touch it,yes it does wear in reverse
  19. Could be alot of things,plug caps,packing,seals
  20. 42 pilot,155main ,cel 4th clip,Are your idle screws really far in?Carbs like small pilots IMO
  21. a stock crank should be no more than .002 out of true, most i take out are around .003-.004,.Remember this is the heart of your motor is the crank any vibration there will harmonize through the whole motor.Another important thing to be checked is center bearing runout this is where most banshee crank noise will come from and not everyone pays attention to it.If your adding compression a weld is a must plus a tz or max load bearing should be added IMO.Remember if its out allready do it once do it rite
  22. The only thing i can say is 17cc domes require somereal good gas or alky or e-85,how mild is the porting and whats the compression at
  23. 21cc with a mild port job had me kicking at 155 psi at sea level, with no porting i would go with 22s to be safe,i have a brand new set never ran ill get rid of if you want them like $30
  24. my vote is 5th n 6th gear pinion on the front shaft, look 4b luing or burnt look an spin gears by hand you can feel /hear if its wiped
