  1. Yes they are synced, and I thought that they were supposed to be jetted the same but wasn't sure why the difference in plug readings. If water was leaking into the cylinder wouldn't there be signs of that? I'll check into the weak fire theory. Thanks for your help!
  2. I'm just curious if both carbs should be jetted the same. I went riding today and fouled two plugs both on the same cylinder (left side) It seems to be running rich yet the right side looks great! I have a fresh motor that I finished up this last Friday. 1.5 over WSM Forged pistons, ported jugs, Cool Head, 18cc domes, Race fuel, +4 timing, Pro-Circuit Platinum pipes, Hotrods crank and rod assm, 30mm OKO carbs with 55 pilots and 160 mains. K&N air filter with no air box. When the plugs weren't fouled the bike is extremely fast. It would run fine for about 45 minutes then foul a plug. Got any suggestions?
  3. What are some of the better pipes out there? The port work (to me) looks pretty extensive. Yes I ran race gas with a 40:1 synthetic oil. And the timing is advanced 4 degrees. I want this bike to make the most power possible of course. And the guy I got it from, got it from someone else so the history on the motor is a mystery. I may take the cyclinders by the local shops tomorrow and ask them.
  4. Hey guys I'm kinda new to the Banshee stuff, and was wondering what kind of power I can expect to get out of my new project. I got this bike and it was locked up so I put a new Hot Rod crank in it, and WSM pistons. Its a stock stroke and the bore is 65.5, it has a Cool head with 18cc domes and the jugs have been ported. It has Pro-Curcuit Platinum pipes and silencers. 30mm OKO carbs, Pro flow K&n with outerwear, no air lid. Thats all I can think of right now. If there is something I missed just ask. Thanks for your responses and input!!!

    Pro X pistons?

Thanks. I ended up ordering a pair of WSM pistons. I did some research and I really like that they have a silicon coating. Maybe it will protect the cylinder better
  6. I was wondering if anyone on this site has ever used Pro X pistons? If so are they any good? Recommendations, comments, concerns... Anything would be helpful. Thanks again for everyones help!!!
