  1. pretty sure noss can do them www.nossmachine.com
  2. looks like a spacer plate under the jugs in the first pic, that could be why people think it has a 4mm in it. it could however just be stock stroke with long rods. you would have to pull the head and measure the stroke before you sold it to anyone so they knew exactly what they were getting!
  3. yeah, whys that?
  4. i know there are a couple guys on here with these, so i thought id ask, since Laegers dont wanna know about it! i have found a complete laeger pro-trax banshee chassis for sale, with cr500 linkage swingarm and everything. it has no hubs, brakes or axle etc, and was built in 1997. the guy reckons it takes OEM banshee front hubs and brakes, and also uses complete banshee rear brake set up, including lever etc.. i always thought they needed 250R stuff, especially on the front. can anyone shed some light on this for me please? also being a '97, will it be able to take an oversize radiator? if not, would it be easy to modify to accept one? i dont mind having to cut and redo some mounts etc. thanks in advance, mark
  5. wow, 10cc domes are really small! are you sure thats what they are? also, have you done a plug chop? sounds like your real rich
  6. do i need to use longer studs for the PD head? if so have you got em? thanks, mark
  7. thanks for that man do you think ill be able to put the bike at stock height with the 450 shocks and the preload backed off? how will they then perform with little to no preload? all im doing with it is flat track, and just thought the 450 shocks would go better than the stock ones, maybe they wont! ill probably end up using a sway bar anyway, so does it really matter what shocks i use? thanks, mark
  8. i have been told that there is more to it than just flange size. ie on the big flange pipes the rest of the pipe is designed around the bigger flange?
  9. so they're 2 inch forward? cool! is there anyone else who makes arms in this configuration? how much do you want for yours? thanks, mark
  10. hey man what brand is the cool head and is it in good condition? (ie not warped) if its Noss ill take it, if you'll ship it USPS to Australia? thanks, mark
  11. hi there can someone please tell me the eye-to-eye lengths of the 450 front shocks and the banshee shocks? i want to use them with +2+1 arms and want the bike to sit at the same height, maybe a little lower, than standard. if they are longer, can it be bought back down in height by backing off the pre-load? thanks, mark
  12. 20s should be fine at sea level with pump gas, and will be even lower on comp at altitude, so not sure why youd want 21s? if anything youd want 19s for higher alts!
  13. the newer style noss domes have a far superior combustion chamber shape compared to the older ones and also compared to PD ones. so i would buy some brand newies, they are only $65!! oh yeah and id get 20s
  14. hey yeah he has the 916 stingers too, we knew they would be different thanks, mark
  15. a buddy has a DMC Alien system on his banshee and has just scored a 916 silencer off ebay. will the silencer bolt right up with the alien pipes? thanks, mark
  16. does anyone know where i can get a set?? apparently matt shearer doesnt keep these on hand and would take a while to build, so hoping someone out there has some i can get hold of alot quicker? thanks, mark!

  18. like the topic says guys i need a swinger prefer a brand-name (eg lsr, laeger etc) round house style with carrier, that can accept a banshee axle, sprocket and brake. thanks, mark
  19. bump!
  20. your clutch isnt adjusted properly but even then on my bike i sit there and pull the clutch in about 5 times before selecting first if its cold, just to make sure its all freed up and disengaging properly
  21. as the title says im looking for a DMC 916 exhaust for my banshee. even if you have just the 916, 2 into silencer, ill buy it! thanks, mark
  22. get a Haynes or Gregorys manual the specs for the crank are in there
  23. that was awesome! those 250r's handle unreal, see the way they can get all crossed up and out of shape but still stay on 4 wheels! that blue banshee that holeshot and led for a bit would have to be an outlaw or pro-trax chassis wouldnt it? the other blue banshee that rolled was just a standard chassis, that woulda been a rough ride!
