only thing I can think of is it might be harder on the rear axle when turning. the inside tire is trying to turn faster than the outside tire causing a twist on the axle. Im not sure there is enough weight on the tires to really matter though.
In the front might cause you loading problems depening how you haul your bike. Also you typically crash with the front end first so if its sticking out there, chances are its going to be your bumper.
On the rear its more leverage if you flip or wheelie to bend your subframe. Not much more than a grab bar but a little.
I dont see all the 450 guys bragging about beating a piped banshee...maybe its just me but seems like a lot of banshees have little man syndrome...450 guys dont have the complex that if they dont beat a banshee that they are less of a man....I dont know if this is true everywhere but from what ive seen it is.....good for you if you can beat one in a straight line......go race one on a trail or mx and see how you do, if you can walk the next day.
damn, did they use the whole tube? i put like a little 1/4"bead all around mine and it still squished out.....they must have ran that on there like a fat bead of silicone...
tony, those should be good for you, from what ive gathered .125 is about as big as you want to be max, then you can mess with main jet size......call john or someone and see what they think.
im still dialing it in but ive got a 392, 35 pwk, 155 mains, 50 pilot, 185 psi and shearers.. i know its not what you asked for but maybe some sort of idea??
Buy an expensive cover so you can get to it without taking the cover off.....direct drive makes them
If the oil smells burnt then maybe the clutch adjuster came loose and lost adjustment and you fried your clutch in the process....take it apart and look at the fibers and steels.....if the steels are dark color and burned then its time for a clutch
Yea, what he said.....From what I understand Calvin had wiseco design a piston for a stock crank/rod combo for the 68x54 cub. It is sold through tinity and has an odd ball part number. They are a little more expensive than the usuall 140 or whatever standard wisecos cost....cost a little more and have to order them but how many people really go to their local dealer to buy pistons anyway?
