  1. THATS JUST SICK!!!!! I'LL TAKE TWO.....LOL!!!
  2. Shayne called it....I run the 10x4's with the 20" tires. Thats what alot of us run at the hill. They float nice and weigh nothing.
  3. shoot me a price on the frame shipped to Tucson, Az 85741.....Thanks.
  4. Sounds good guys. Keep the brakes, no problem. So it seems everyone thinks the lights are a must, but do we keep them in the stock location or move them up to the handlebars? Hit me up guys.
  5. HEY GUYS.......I need more input on the lights!!!! It would be nice to here from at least a dozen members on this topic. To Light or Not to Light.....THAT IS THE QUESTION????? If we are building more of a Duner/Drag Bike....that has out of frame drag pipes on it.....are the lights neccessary? I feel not, but that is only one opinion. LETS GET SOME MORE FEEDBACK GENTLEMEN!!!!
  6. Hey Lowbuck.....I can take care of the stem also. And most likely, if we are going more in the direction of dune/drag, with the frame mods I plan to do, Lights probably are not going to be nessecary. We can get other member feedback on that....but If I am gonna really cleanup the frame and lighten it up, then I would take the lights out of the equation. Maybe even the front brakes, I can lighten up those fron spindles too. Just a thought! Lets get some feedback on this from members.
  7. Hey Guys....Just got the frame back from the Sand Blaster. I had it stripped and ready for its new owner who appears to have backed out. I had a couple other people hit me up with interest in purchasing it, but nothing for sure. So I am going to use it for mock up purposes for now. If anyone is interested in it, hit me up. The frame will be sold bare with a custom Stem made to the buyers specs. Lengthened, Antivibe, full drag, etc. I will get some pics up of it in a couple of days. I am currently in Los Angeles for the Westec Tooling Convention. Gotta keep up with all the new machinery and fabrication tools  If anyone needs any input on doing there frames up....just pm me. I have no problems giving some insight to people.
  8. Everything is identical. When they switched to the a-arms style frame, they widened the upper arm mount to accept an a-arm. Thats it. The geometery, mounts, etc.....everything is the same. I would get with NYUK and pick up one of his a-arm frames with arms. If you are looking to get some different arms, PM me.
  9. I think you are gonna need a bigger screen....LOL....J/K How This!!!
  10. You always want to use some kind of rubber mount. I have busted both aluminum and steel mounts. Metal Tech offers a nice rubber pipe mount for $18.00 each. And if your pipe mounts do not line up properly with your foot pegs, go buy some 1"x1/8" Flat bar and cut it to the length needed. Drill 2 holes and a quick paint job. You could de it with aluminum and polish it...but I keep finding the aluminum to end up cracking.
  11. lol.....thats awesome! If you dont already have one....go pick up a 4 1/2 inch electric grinder. You shold be able to find a ryobi for around $39.00 or so. Then get the 80 grit flap wheel for it. That will save you a ton of time when smoothing things out. Also, for cutting metal, use the cut-off style wheels, not the standard grinder wheels. You will be able to cut out the old braces in no time! On another note, I am tooling up to build a-arms. But most of my products are all going to be for drag only. I may make a couple jigs for +2+1 arms, but not any time soon.
  12. I have a couple of sets of arms that I used for reference. I have been studying other shops products also. Most of the parts I am designing and building are pretty much for drag use only. Though I really feel these would dune fine also. I also have been working with alot of people fabbing custom sand rails. That has helped me in designing Suspension arms that should be able to take quite a beating. Any other input is greatly appreciated. If you think they suck....let me know! I just want to build some sick looking but functional Banshee parts!
  13. Every banshee stock front shcok I have ever seen does not have a slip off colar. You will need to unscrew the bottom eye to remove the spring. The rear can be compressed and has a removable colar.
  14. Here are the arms I designed. Will have pics of the complete set soon!
  15. Here are the ones I am building. I will have pics of the uppers soon. They are -1+3.
  16. LOL.....I'll keep that in mind. I think I could sell that on Ebay....LOL. Once again....thank you guys for the compliments.
  17. Hey Shawn......how have ya been! I'm sure the day will come when the Green Frame goes.....but it has been my pride and joy. Everything just happen to come together so well with that bike, between the frame mods, powdercoat, billet and my make shift paint job. I am gonna have a hard time parting with it. But I want to thank everyone for there compliments. I really does mean alot to me to know that others enjoy seeing my work. I aim to please and try to never disappoint. I'll have to find ways to make you guys hungry for more. I have been brainstorming a RatRod style drag banshee. I can picture it in my head.....Satin black throughout with old school red pin stripes. Red rims and see if someone can paint white walls on some triple buffs. Its kinda hard to picture....but if you are familiar with the old school RatRod cars.....then I think you could appreciate the idea. Anyways.......we'll have to see what I can come up with.
  18. Unfortunetly I cannot Weld Titanium. Chromoly, Dom, Mild Steel, and learning Aluminum and Stainless is about it. Mig is my strong point, still working with Tig though. I am tooling up to build Frames, A-arms and Swingarms. Mostly all Drag relatied parts. Not too much in the realm of MX or Trails. I will let you guys know when tooling and jigs get finished. We are in the process of relocating a machine shop from KY back to AZ. So bare with me. My garage is my makeshift shop currently and it just isnt working. When the time comes....hopefully quite soon, I will be offering some killer deals on a-arms and swingarms and Stems. I do not even want to get anyone excited or give any clue to price, but I will say that I will need to gets these out in the market and I cannot think of a better way than to do it through you guys.
  19. Finished the Motor mounts......looks nice!!!!
  20. This morning I finished up the Front end.....Came out pretty nice. BEFORE! AFTER!
  21. I would have to say that would be an extremely good choice. I just ordered that exact bender in the deluxe kit along with 6 sets of dies. Kinda pricey, but still much cheaper that some of the others. Until recently, I have been using a conduit bender...but it is difficult to get consistancy. So you end up wasting materials here and there until parts match. I have only been able to bend up to 3/4 and only up to 90 degrees, which really makes things difficult. I really enjoy the look of curved tubing, plus the stregnth added to a curved is great. Check out this website, I just ordered a little over $2000.00 from these guys. They have an awsesome arrangement of fabrication tools. Vansant Prdoucts The cost of the bender isn't too bad....its the dies that get ya. I ordered a notching/coping tool, multi angle tubing clamps, design software, etc. Can't wait to get it all in. I hope this helps you guys out some.
  22. Okay....so this evening I fabbed the upper Arm mounts and began setting them up on the frame.
