Huge Banshee Sale!
Stellar Performance replied to Stellar Performance's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
All pm's returned by this "half ass okay dude" Just to verify, the overrides are standard cuts, not duneables. I do have payment pending on the cub setup....if that changes, I will go in the order of PM's recieved. Please send pm's if you are interested in parts. They get forwarded to my email and I can track them better that way. Its the only way I can fairly prioritize who has first dibs on parts, etc. I do not want someone getting upset becaused they did not get something they wanted. -

As far as the cub goes, it is just a clean up port, but as you guys know it all depends on how much time and experience goes into tuning and setup. It could definetely be a runner with the right setup. That setup will definetely work for your bike and yes, I do have a K&N filter to go with it. But it you want to use tour air box, you will need to track down an adaptor for it. -

All PM's replied. Thank for any and all input guys. Dave, I always appreciate any business you send my way. And Rico....so far my green bike has not been touched. These are all parts I have been sitting on for a while and just need to move. It just too much money to have laying around and not being used. I picked one hell of a time to try to get a business going and need funds to keep things moving forward. On another note, if anyone is looking for a drag chassis, drag arms, stem, swingarm, frame mods, etc....please hit me up. I can go from mild to wild!!! Sincerely.... First and foremost....BE CAREFULL. A friend of mine used to race the Baja Series. He was always getting injured due to the incompetance of others. And with Buggies, Trunks and everything else out there....I'm sure it can get pretty knarly!!!

06 yfz 450 frame cheap
Stellar Performance replied to PJ24's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
thats not true....the MVD can trace the engine number via the title. All of those numbers are in the database. In Cali...the engine number is on the title along with the VIN. So getting a title with an engine is a good thing, it proves you did not buy a stolen engine! -
Why is it that the guys with the killer prices have to live on the other side of the country....LOL. You should have a line starting to form with those prices JD. Keep it up and them move to Tucson so I can load you up with work to do.

Keeping Her Shinny and new!
Stellar Performance replied to 04titanse's topic in General Banshee Discussion
lol....I knew that was gonna come up. After my last glamis trip I had a kink in the chain and I also pulled the top end to inspect the cylinders....so thats why the fuel lines are off. GOOD EYE THOUGH  -
Keeping Her Shinny and new!
Stellar Performance replied to 04titanse's topic in General Banshee Discussion
My bike is strictly for going racing in the dunes. But after every trip I place a plastic bag over the airfilters and do a light pressure washing. Then I blow dry it with compressed air. It helps to blast the majority of the water beads off and then I wipe the excess water off with a micro fiber cloth. A little wax on the front fender and she still looks like new. My sig pic was after my last trip out with the bike. -
Any website designers out there?
Stellar Performance replied to 87sheerips's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Hey JD....you might want to check out GoDaddy.com. They have a bunch of services to offer. They also have very easy to use website building programs. I used them to make my site. www.stellarmachineandperformance.com. In my opinion there rates are quite reasonable. Hopefully this helps some. -
That is some really tall gearing to try to launch from 2nd gear. Even that you are using 20" tires, GNCC tires are usually quite heavy to be able to take the terrain. So with those combinations, I would either drop the gearing down some more or just launch from first.

LOL.....Ouch LOCO....you better be on your A game when you go to call someone out!!! Thats funny!!!

T-REX 635 big bore/stroker kit
Stellar Performance replied to kiljoy's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Power valve motors do not make more overall HP. It does give you better bottom and midrange power by lowering the exhaust port. Once the engine reaches a certain RPM the powervalve is completely open and the exhaust will flow to the set porting. Power valves do help to smooth out the power curver so you do not have as hard as a "hit" when the power kicks in. Now keep in mind, the kit you are looking at does not include a 16mil crank which will add another $1200.00 or so dollars. And do not forget to add the case work that will be needed to stuff a 16mil crank into it. If you are looking for a killer dune motor, you cannot beat a 4mil cub for the money. And if you want more torque and HP....go with a 10mil cub. Dollar for dollar, they are by far the best power for the money. There are some killer deals going on in the for sale section on both 4 and 10 mil setups. -
Tim Potteiger pretty much nailed it. When you are a manufaturer and have dealers selling your products, you have to sell them for MSRP (manufacturer's suggested retail price). As a dealer you are supposed to sell the parts for MSRP or MAP(manufacturer's Advertised Pricing) which is supposed to be the lowest they can advertise them for. Now just like any other business, company's can have their SALES which then allow them to every once in a while have cheaper pricing. Most likely there is nothing wrong with the parts....they just are going to have to sell more to make more.

How I made my Banshee 45lbs lighter
Stellar Performance replied to Keyser Soze's topic in General Banshee Discussion
That is true when it comes to rotating mass. But not with overall weight. So for example, cutting 14 pounds off of your frame will not get you 2 more HP. But Going from a stock axle with heavy rims and tires to a aluminum drag axle with SLS paddles will definitely get you closer! Weight is a big factor when racing, especially hill shooting. Having to not only move that weight, but now have to pull it up hill can make a huge diiference. But heavier guys/bikes usually get more traction as well.....so you have to be able to find a happy balance between to two! -
How I made my Banshee 45lbs lighter
Stellar Performance replied to Keyser Soze's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Guys.....this is amazing! You are doing a heck of a job and keep it up. I can tell you at one point in my life I weighed in at 205. I am 5'10" tall, but at 205 I looked huge. I now average 165 to 170 and my energy and stamina are mure greater, I feel better, and my bike hauls ass! So for you guys to lose that much weight and continue to do so, that is one heck of an accomplishment. Keep in mind....its not just about feeling better and going faster, your health is a huge part of it also! Congrats!!!!
