I got a N-down 1-5 dunable. Only thing i dont like is no 6th. But with the right power, gearing and set up. You dont need it. Clutchless shifting just feels so damn good. It's hard for me to shift from 1st to N but if i give it a little rev or completely stop it goes down like butter.

The stock headlights and big square radiator just screams banshee to me. When you see that from far away, no doubt it's a shee.
-
I just doesnt scream banshee when i look at that. Perhaps a picture from another angel would be better.

There's no seals on the ends of stuff that are inside the clutch cover. Think about it. It doesnt matter if it slightly leaks because it's going right back in. That confused me when i did mine but it all makes sense once you think about it. I had a buddy of mine explain it to me.

Not to be a douche but shoot HJR a pm or call him up and see what he recommends. I just built a 4mil bike and i asked my builder for all that stuff. I just got some 30oko's. Perfect for my set up. Bigger carbs with my set up will take away power where i dont want it to. I was told many time by others to go with a much bigger carb. That's just an example that the builder should know what's best for his work.

Free bump for this seller. I bought the 1st set of carbs and just got them in minutes ago. Very fast shipping and they are new in box. Perfect for a banshee. You will need to have the correct jets though. And you will also need a throttle cable. Someone jump on these before they are gone. They are $70 + 22$ shipping on ebay per carb. This is a good deal.

The smaller bore juggs about in the $800-$900 range i think. Then you need a lockup($220-$350), override(mine was $300-$400 i think). Then you will need a longer swingarm, , chain, crankshaft, bigger carbs, race fuel, exhaust(Shearer or CPI's) etc. Adds up quickly doesnt it? There's stuff i didnt mention either. Then if you like power all over the rpm range, your shit outta luck. Cubs are bolt on drag cylinders. Drag ported. Retarded top end like no other but nothing down low. Although some will say they trail ride all day long with their cub set ups and have awesome mid range. I'm just starting my opinion which doesnt mean much. Lets say you do all of that and line up your cub against a raptor. That is not a fair race at all. You just brought Rambo with his big machine gun to a knife fight. Sure you will own him but it wont be much of a race. Search youtube for cub videos and be amazed. You are already on the right path imo.

Summer Donna! Get a crank, NEW bearings and NEW seals and put her back together. When a piston fly aparts it's best to split the cases and get all the loose metal out anyways. So actually it turned out good that you went that far. Ellision or however u spell his name had around 3-4 cases for sale and i think they were $175 each. So if you need cases, there you go. I've been there. Dont worry. Just takes a little time. A weekend and you can have her back running in tip top shape. You can still go with a 4mil on those juggs. I think you need spacers. Your builder can help you out with that. But then if you push too much hp, then you will need a lockup and maybe if you want an override so it shifts good at WOT. It gets pricey quit. To save some coin, just run it stock stroke as is and when the need arises, get some new juggs, port them for a 4mil, top end, get a 4mil crank and install.
-
When you talk to the builder you decide to go with, you both can decide on what's best for you. I personally wouldnt port those juggs. I would just enjoy the bike as is. There's always going to be someone faster than you. There's plenty other mods you can do but best bang for the buck if porting the juggs. You can always save you money meanwhile enjoying your bike as is. Nothing is wrong by being slower a buddy.

ASV refurb universal clutch lever

I agree cept for the stroker set up. That's the route i went and i now have a lockup coming my way. When you push too much hp, the bike craves a lockup and override(in some cases) too. It gets expensive real quick. A portjob will do the job. I had my stuff ported with t5's and it ran very strong. Only time i didnt do too great was when i had traction issues off the line till the end of 3th. That's a setup and rider issue. I wasnt and still am not the best of riders. Instead of trying to find some ported jugs, it might be in your best interesting to talk to a builder and see what the ideal set up for you would be. You would be getting the most out of your money. There's numerous builders out there. Talk to one on the PHONE and decide what's best for you. Hell, i got a sick port job for $300. It rips. The guys here that are ported can testify that you wont regret it. Porting done right will still keep it reliable. That's a fact.

I won this off of ebay. I didnt realize i bid on a clutch lever with hotstart till i got it in. So it has to go. I think regular they are $70ish new. It's black and in the package it came in. Very slight wear marks on the end of the lever itself. Looks flawless otherwise. Note that this is not a short lever. According to the sells auctions, you get a 1 year warranty on these from the purchase date. However, i will not give you the original invoice off ebay/paypay due to security reasons. So there's no warranty on this as for as i know. Price is 32$ shipped firm. Paypal only. US only. http://rc.superdave2u.com/hotstart%20lever1.JPG http://rc.superdave2u.com/hotstart%20lever2.JPG

It's a freakin cub. Of course it can pull that gearing. The thread starter has bolts on and unported stock juggs. :ermm:

entering 2 & 3 for the contest.
-
Easy way to get that big nut OFF is to use an impact gun. No holding device needed.
-
Damn, you not even ported. I would do like he said above. Drop a tooth or two in the rear.
-
mods dont matter. hold it WOT and kicked the hell out of it till it dont go no more. Unscrew it and do it again to insure it had a good seal.
-
It will be fine depending on mods. You will need some serious power on top end to pull 15/41 in 6th. I had a nice port job, cpi's etc and on my field road where i usually ride, i couldnt pull 6th as good as i wanted. On the bright side, 5th will be pretty fast. I wouldnt go with a 16t at all unless you are playing around on ashpalt. I wouldnt recommend a 15 unless you are ported but sprockets are cheap and it takes like 20 min to set it up. If you dont like it, you didnt loose but $10 if that. You can look on a banshee speed calculator to see how much mph in theory u can achieve. That's kinda what i used since i went with a 1-5 overide. I lost 6th gear

A lot of banshees? There's the section of budget bikes as mentioned above and the reader's pictures. That's about it i think.

anybody has some good sayings. For some banners i see, no sayings would look better.

I seen it. This months issue has a lot of good articles. I am thinking about subscriping for a couple years. I already have a 3 year subscription for Quad magazine.
