  1. pressure test would make the crank seal going bad show up correct?
  2. Highest offer i got on my dirtbike(02 yz250) was $1900 so far. I shoulda took it lol. I almost got offered a modded 400ex. If it had after market suspension, ida traded. .....Free bump!
  3. Did you lube your cable? That's cheap and easy to do. I use white lithium grease and a special tool that goes on the end of the cable to keep the grease in while it sprays.
  4. Can you offer help instead of just saying "wow"? Assuming everything is fine, you can run 6 stock springs and an undercover sling shot. It wont slip and it will grab harder than your current set up. may be hard to power shift without an override though.
  5. Need 6th? If not, n-down 1-5th dunable is the best option IMO. I took mine out for a pro mod. I'm sure ill miss it from time to time.
  6. I want to see some video. lots of it
  7. Damn that's some bad traction problems. Traction isnt looking good for my build. may have to keep the pro wedge's on my bike. damnit.
  8. free bump for a great deal.
  9. already got most of that coming. Looking forward to it.
  10. IMO Do full suspension and wide axle/a-arms if trail widths allow it instead of adding power.
  11. When you gonna get to ride it?
  12. Go to a place that mounts tires. Use their impact gun. Give em 5 dollars ftw after.
  13. Got a sound clip of those pipes?
  14. A serval is meant to have a broad power band which is why people dont understand why you went get it drag ported. People get cubs if they want a top end/drag set up. You could of got a cub and came out cheaper/better in some cases. People say single carbs dont do well on top end and arent meant for drag racing. 2 into 1 is seen as low end set ups which is opposite of what you want. So in general, keep two carbs. Stock carbs will work. A lot of people do 35's.
  15. How about get rid of the cub cylinders and try a set of serval cub cylinders? Cubs are a drag ported cylidner made for top end power. You can still have a fun broad power band serval cub that is strong in a drag race. A lot comes down to set it up, not just power.
  16. Poor guy then. id assume that gets old like the ford vs chevy stuff.
  17. You shouldnt say craptor when talking about that raptor.
  18. speaking of, Id like to see sand hustlers dyno chart.
  19. id go up at least 3 and redo the test.
  20. for 4k wow. Odd how OP got rid of a raptor and wants a banshee for trails. I want to sell my yz250 to get a raptor for trails. Cant beat fuel injection and TQ.
  21. stock carbs work fine with 4mil stock cylinders. Many have done it. So there ya go. edit* i forgot you chose a builder. He will know best.
  22. Id buy a new shaft for a better peace of mind. By the time you chuck up on the shaft and machine it, you could possibly waste a couple hours taking your time. Id rather work a couple more hours of over time if possible to help pay for it. I work at a machine shop and could get it done for free but i still would buy a new shaft.
  23. You can make a leak down tester for cheap. A seal kit is also about $50 or close to it. I forget the actual price. So for under $125 you can have new seals and proof you engine doesnt have an air leak.An air leak can even be something as simple as a tiny leak by the reeds or carbs. The price of a new seal kit and leak down tester is than a motor going lean or stress cause by you not being able to figure out why you are having issues jetting it correctly or it running right. Do it right. Youll thank yourself later.
  24. Shearer makes in frame pipes and out of frame(OOF) pipes with silencers. It's a lot more quieter. Plus with in frames, they are less likely to get damaged when trail riding or rolling over.
  25. $500 wow. Guess my build will take longer to complete now.
