  1. Who makes clear radiator hose? Not the hot tube crap at Lowes.
  2. who sells pro wedge 2's now? And did the manufacturer stop making them?
  3. Pull choke out a little and see how it acts off idle. If it responds better, the pilot and/or air screw is too lean.
  4. Johnny, i had the same motor as you for a few years. I had about 167 compression, ran race fuel and ran aout 6.5* of timing. It ran great for what it was. I hated the hassle of race fuel. For me it was the long drive to get it was worse than the cost. My only recommendation is get a n-down 1-5 dunable override. My override helped me win me more close races than any little bit more of power could of. I personally dont like drag ported banshees. It's not fun to ride. I play round and do other stuff.I seldom drag race. I'm doing a big 10mil build now but im afraid due to the power, it wont be near as fun as my old 4mil will. So i wont recommend add power to your bike. ill let you decide when to go with some different cylinders, fuel type, carbs or whatever. Good luck with your choice. I ran +4 timing on 93 pump gas with 19cc domes. i lost a bore and top end due to detonation right after i finished my build.. I didnt give the motor what it wants. Then i switched to race fuel. I dont blend fuels, i believe in running strait race fuel since it's consistent. It's the safest thing do to IMO.
  5. Thanks but i must correct you. That's the most beat to shit bike you've ever seen up close. Plastics ant even cut strait, rust on the frame, missing bolts and parts. But that's getting corrected. Say good bye to the black/white. The Zerba cake bike will be missed.
  6. It was either that or cooled head. Thanks for the free bumps you two.
  7. ^ I meant stator cover and like new front bumper
  8. I have a new chrome Chariot cooling head for sale. I bought this about a month ago from a member here then decided to go with a big bore for m new build and im told this wont fit. I'm pretty sure this is a new head that's never been used. Asking $175 shipped and ill pay 3% fees. This price is firm for now. Please allow up the next Saturday for shipping due to my work schedule. You get the cooling head, a set of orings and nuts(i wont split anything up). NO DOMES. Only trades i'm looking for is new chariot throttle, new cheap china radiator, new stator color with bearing support, like new after market(nothing with DG, flames, skull logos etc). Everything needs to be like new so i can get it powder coated for my new build. Post here if you want it before pm'ing me for paypal info. That's the order i will go in.
  9. 7-10 degrees advance on pump gas? wow Id stick to just +4
  10. that motor sounds mean. Doesnt seem to strain at all.
  11. Great. Now I want new tires.
  12. porting stock juggs is the best mod per dollar mod there is. Since you will be calling Redline, just ask them everything. They will best answer your questions. The price of a 4mil will only add the cost of the actual crank to the final price. The juggs need to be ported for a 4mil stroker but a builder can port the juggs for that while doing the port work for no extra cost.
  13. IMO a stock stroke bike with non ported juggs is just fine for your first bike. Enjoy it and ride it. And if you do mess up with building it, it's just stock cylinders and crank which are cheap and easy to replace. You can do suspension mods and other stuff to the chassis to better enjoy your ride. Non engine mods will still be there if or when you decide to go bigger. Getting into the "while im in my motor, ill add just one more go fast mod" sense of mind can get real expensive quick. Once you add enough power, the clutch wont hold, bike wont shift and/or traction will be crap. Those all can be solved with money, time and set up. Just think ahead and good luck.
  14. The last banshee I ran had 4 snows. I laughed to myself at them tires ane his -2 swing arm. Then his near 250lb self put a train on me off the line
  15. you have a link to the set? I didnt see a banshee bolt kit on pro bolt's website.
  16. id keep the stock carbs and put the money towards better suspension.
  17. I dont mind the spinning. My bike is a stock swing arm. With this new build, i plan to try my hardest to tame it before stretching it. I've got some cut Kenda Karlys and they work decent but i needed a bigger front spocket and more power to enjoy them. Plus they only worked well on semi damp terrain. if i ever take my override out, ill run my knarlys 24/7 and it will be a strait up play bike. i just love how my override and pro wedges work when i drag race. But i hate how you cant slide the rear around well.
  18. Best part about pro wedge 2's is they grow. I like that they grow since i dont have 6th gear. I have yet to find a better lighter dirt for to run in dirt/grass.
  19. hole shot is traction, set up and rider for the most part. most of us rev our bikes to hell and dump the clutch. We dont use low end and leave at 3-5k rpms. We would bog.
  20. Whoever if porting your cylinders will best answer how it will work with any set up. The engine porter and you should discuss how you ride and what you want out of the bike/port work before even mailing the cylinders off.
  21. Tuning isnt harder or easier. You just have to do it either to on carb or two.
  22. How you add air? Regular ccompressed air or nitrogen?
  23. I talked to atv galaxy. He recommended elkas over floats due to floats needing air checked every few rides. For fox air suspesnion owners, How much maintenance is enloved? They are near the same price so thats not an issue for me. I hate the color's of elka so I may end up with fox anyway.
  24. I think green would look great on those plastics. It's amazing how silver/gray can work with any odd color. I've finally decided on a color for mine, now i need to decide on a seat cover combo. What size swing arm are you going with and why? We will be around the same power level so i want some opinions.
