  1. Damn i thought it was expensive as well. Thanks a bunch man, ill look up the cost on yamaha of troy to verify then perhaps give FAST a call.
  2. thank you, i was pretty sure i didnt know what it was called. ellison, does what you have contain the inner clutch boss? if so, ill take it. Ill take just the inner clutch boss by itself if possible. Also, it must be on mint condition.
  3. id like the clutch basket if it's mint condition and available.
  4. I am looking for a OEM cltuch basket for a banshee. I just want the thing that you slide the plates on. I believe it's called the basket. I will pay via paypal only. Must be in mint condition! If you have one, pm me with pictures, price etc.
  5. I have knarlys that are cut. works great in dirt.
  6. yfz450 shocks with the 450 a-arms....garbage.
  7. elka brand shocks are top of the line shocks. They are very very expensive and the average person does not need such an expensive shock. Youll never see me spending god knows how much on some elkas. 2-1 carbs....please. Stock carbs work fine. Hell im ported with stock carbs. Tuning is easy once you learn what adjustment affects what. That comes in time, everybody learns. As for more power, port job with supporting mods. period. that's my 2 cents. :ermm:
  8. i used high temp gasket maker. worked fine.
  9. oh ok, thanks for clearing that up. I dont understand the pros and cons of long travel so ima just stick with regular shocks/arms when i order mine.
  10. Im cheap. i use 50/50. Once i get my shifting problem takin care of, ima go back with engine ice. I hate doing work inside my clutch cover and having to waste all the engine ice :ermm:
  11. oh i didnt know they require long travel shocks. ima have to bookmark this. I am getting ride of my shitty 450 shock conversion shit.
  12. trail rider, this is a forum and i value everyones opinion. It's very rude to start teling people where YOU think they should and should not post. So enough with that. As for the adjustments, i've adjusted everything. I kinda know what does what cuz i adjust my yz250 to my weight. It didnt help. I'm just gonna ditch it. MJ has a point, the frame sitting so low hurts it no matter what.
  13. i think he will take you until the very end and that's IF you catch up.
  14. The problem i have is the ride is rough, very rough. It's way to stiff. Ground clearance isntt he issue here. Bottoming out isnt a concern because i dont jump.
  15. is that the thing the wheels go on? if so, no. It doesnt matter though, that wouldnt help. The shocks/shock travel is the problem. im getting rid of them.
  16. With all serious-ness(if that's even a word), my shee hit 93mpg yesterday in back of my truck. My shee had 94 octane pump gas too in it. my truck also has a super chips chip in it to let me go pass the stupid facotry governor which was 90. Also it doesnt even matter if you do 90+. With a ported shee it still takes way too long of a strait to get it that fast. Plus that isnt practical. With my bad ass flotek port job, i run stock gearing. It's fun!
  17. yeah im going with some ones made for it and some cheap shocks. thanx guys!
  18. this is some pretty good info. I think ima go with these a-arms as well. cant beat the price. What shocks are you guys running with these a-arms?
  19. i read a lot before i bought these and i've never seen anyone with my problem. this sucks. What a waste of my $450. Well, time to put them for sale... edit* i agree MJ, it's just no one really mentioned that back before i bought them. My fault though i guess. People probably mentioned it but i didnt see it. ah well. I will ditch these and get some regular cheap +2 arms and some cheap shocks and be done with it. My rear is already resprung/valved for my weight.
  20. Ok i have a yfz450 front end(shocks and a-arms) on my shee. It's the NON-SE shocks. I wieght about 155ish with my gear on if not a little less. I would like to know if you guys can recommend some shock settings to get the damn buck out of my front end. the type of riding i do consist of no jumping. I just play around on trails, whoops, donuts, drag race. When on the trails i find the front is too stiff and wants to buck. Im debating going with a set of arms/shocks made for the shee, this 450 front makes the front wide, nice and low but it sure isnt plush! the bike http://www.2sly4.us/rc/codys_stuff/MyBansh...%2010-13-07.JPG http://www.2sly4.us/rc/codys_stuff/MyBansh...-21-07-800x.jpg BTW i can care less how low it is.
  21. my ranger could probably hit 96 with the shee in back of it....but that's a big maybe. Perhaps if there was a very strong tail wind. :ermm:
  22. Man enough? lol this is a forum aka internet. Still.....let it go. As for the 400.....it's got 50cc more zach, ill never be able to beat it.
  23. That's too funny someone bothered you enough that you took it OUT of pm and onto the regular boards. I personaly wouldnt let stuff like that bother me. I think mine his about 50-60hp. I'm happy with that boyahh!! haha
  24. I wish there wasnt a $20 min order.
  25. My noss head works great. I only have one leak problem but that's due to MY mechanical error. I pinched it putting it on. Fixed it and now she runs like a champ. With so many happy customers of the noss head, i wouldnt use any other.
