  1. I got another puller,.got it off, the flywheel is fuct too. I ordered one of those this morning. $300 to advance my timing 4 degrees HEHEHEHEH :happy: That shit was all beat up before I got to it anyways and I got one lightened. Hopefully I get em all before this weekend or Ill be pissed of all over again. Is there any special way to put that wheel back on? Do ya just tighten the nut back to push it on and is there a limit?
  2. I got the nut off. but I stck a screwdriver through the holes to hold it from turning and I think I smeared the stator. I ordered another puller already, the old one is about 5 houses down somewhere in someone backyard. Now that its already broke,. Illl continue the way I started,. but is there any trick to getting the flywheel back on when ready? Dont wanna break the new stator I didnt need to just pay $125 for.
  3. tranny oil can be used but needs changed often. 10w 30 works motor oil works. Gear oil80w works or go to a powersports or motorcycle shop and get something better. Some yamalube or bel ray.
  4. just cut it a little less than you want then shave it down to perfection,. then smooth out with a dremel or sandpaper.
  5. I have bandit front tires and love em. Im not sure of the ply`s. Made by pure sport.
  6. It took a 2` long pry bar and busting up my stator or get my flywheel nut loose. Then the puller I drove an hour for stripped and then I tried my gear puller and bent a new snap on screwdriver! WTF!! How do you get that shit off without rebuilding the whole f bike!?!?
  7. Im willing to run 93. I dont want to have to get any additived due to the fact that Im to lazy to get gas and oil as it is. I have a hotrods crank but I dontknow if its welded or not. I want to get to about 65-70hp. Do people really use nitromethane in banshees? In about 3 months Im going to buy a pair of 404`s or something and have em ported and at that time Ill have the crank checked.
  8. word. I got my plate in the mail today and Im going to stop by TDR and pick up a puller and install it. I cant wait to take it out this weekend.

  11. low compression makes for a hard start but ot also wont idle. Because of slow piston travel you get to much blow by and run to rich. so if its hrd to start and idles,. its not compression.
  12. I just got my bike tuned 1 degree from frikin perfect last night. I did a compression test before I rejetted jest to make sure my new head didnt have and air or water leaks and I still only have about 135 psi each cyclinder with 21cc domes. Im only runnng 93. Ive also got a timing plate on the way for +4-5 degrees. Can I go any lower in dome size? I want to get the most out of this thing as I can.
  13. what kind of oil are you using? when does it slip? right off,. in powerband? Mine used to slip in the begining of 4-5-6 and then grab. when ID go wot from 3-4 gear it sounded like it wasnt switching then it would grab. It didnt happen till I started using gearsaver. Its really thin so I think it has to be changed oftern. I ran some castrol 80 in it before and that stuff was thicker. Im going to use my last gearsaver and see what happens. The switch back to the castrol, and if it still slips Im going to get a hinson.

  17. I want something for all terrains from sugar sand to mud. The gncc are supposed to be a really good woods racing tire,. which is mostly what I do. Ive had the standard holeshots and they where good,. and I have turf tamers now which are grat on hard dirt or street but suck ass on anything else. I wanna try something with better lug spacing. I was also thinkin about those honda ohtshu? tires. But thoses GNCC`s look pretty gnarly.

  19. I was thinking of painting my frame either that flourecent orange upside down marking paint color, or neon green color with the hubs, carrer,. and clutch/flywheel covers. I have the factory dark blue plastics. Anyone got a bike lookin somewhat like this so I can see what it looks like? I want it to look good and hidious at the same time. Like BAM wtf is that!?!?! Or maybe a mix of both?
  20. yea,.I moved them at the same time,. but I moved the air screw out more after it was run a little bit. I had the clip at 4th on the needle and it sounded like shit and was spittin out raw fuel or something and running really hot. so I put it back at 3rd. Im at sea level and my mains are at 300. When I get my new k&n Ill probley bump it to 320. I ran it yesterday for 3 hours straight no problems. my pilots are 25 but Im screwed out 2.5 now so I might get some 27.5`s for now. Once I get ported and all Ill get bigger carbs and let the shop figure it all out.

  22. I use castor 927. It smells good and all the people who follow me in the woods can tell which direction I went because of the trail of smell. It helps when they cant keep up :cool:

Yesterday when I got off work I changed my needle back to 3rd groove and my air screws back out to 2.25 turns out. runs great again.because of the 2.25 turns out Im guessing im still using a 25 pilot. Yea its just T5`s are just a top end pipe. I plan on getting some porting done once my psi strarts to drop and Ill have some other work done to improve the bottom end. I have 21 cc domes and will try some 20 or 19s I guess for the time being with some oct booster. I also ordered a timing plate yesterday. Oh and yes my lid is cut all the way,. You can see into the box all the way around the top. Its just the frame with the clips and a screen. Thanx for the help though.
  24. yea,. I think my needle is one notch rich and my slides are in the right way. I only moved my air screws in one half turn,. so Ill turn em back out again.
