  1. Im getting some RZ clylinders, will they use the same studs and all to use on my motor? and If I get the same gasket set new for my 4mm crank for them, would that still work? I take it the strokes are the same? I can get the bottom too, but I want to keep the banshee shorter gearing. Or can I just put my banshee trans in the rz motor?
  2. I have a red anodized renthal bar left over from a part out..
  3. Its dry out here and very sandy, Im not moving quick enough with the holeshots. Dont know what count of paddles I should get,. I know to many will slow it down and to little will too. I have 157psi, carbon fiber reeds, +4mm, .1 overbore, 28mm flatslides, k&n, play porting, +5 degrees timing, stock sprockets, t5s, not extended. Fig 8 or 9 paddle? 20"
  4. there isnt anything special about it. Take you shifter to the hardaware store and match up a bolt for it. I think its an M6.
  5. Sea level is your friend. Even more so,... cool 40-50 degree seal level with no humidity. Sea level and pump gas a 21 cc is good n safe. Noss heads are the shit!
  6. When I read that, I heard the voice of a jackofasaurous from southpark. I built mine from nothing, frame and so on in 2.5 months for 2400. Would have been cheaper having waited for a frame cheaper than 400 and a motor for 900 and not paying 10-100 on shipping every part. I didnt use a manual, just brains, some previous knowledge and an HQ to answer all my dumb ass question.
  7. those dynojet kits are a f`n waste of money. good, just to much. you runnin pipes? reeds?
  8. I already bought a set of duros for 65 for the pair brand new. I kinda need a rim for a TRX 250-450 now though. a 4x144. I did a unibit one step to big for the valvestem in mine. John, whenI get paid Imma try to get an axle off yea if you got any with tit splines. Or extendedididids.
  9. Please clarify the question. Do you mean 66mm bore diameter? that is over stock. Head domes arent that big. Im pretty sure not even close. Pro design cool head domes will fit over a 66mm bore. I think I might have answeered?
  10. keep in mind with oil in the mixture your not going to run 93 with a 10.5:1 to 11:1 like with a straight gas motor. I think 150 will put you about 8:1, 160lbs @ about 8.8:1, 170lbs about 10:1. Depends on barometric preasure, altitude, ect as well. Thats a ballpark. either way what lbs you have is what you got, about a 100 or as they said above would work. Engine temps, component material, and weather temps can allow you to cheat a lower level. Hotter will increase the chance of detonation, so runnng a little higher octain would be safer in heat. Plus if your running a say for example 40:1 gas/oil mix over 20:1,. that helps lower the need for higher octain to a few points. 11. how much weight are you really going to shave off. Dont eat for a day instead. save $200 I dont get it. I could see for looks maybe. Id use I light filler and sand it rather than make weld beads smaller though, but that just me. cutting wheels and grinding wheels are $4 at the home depot.
  12. I can get the elka recs for 380 shipped through a friend. I also have an ohlins sp? option,.... how good are these?
  13. Ive beebn trying to find 1 f`n 10" front tire for my 300ex for 6months now. I RUFUSE to buy a used tire that has 25% tread left and a fuct rim for frikin $80 on goddamn ebay. Everything on there, Im ight as well go to the F dealership and buy a new one. ITS THE SAME! Does anyone have a 21x7x10 or any 10" front or 2 used no rim for less than what my fucking car costs? Its rare I know, almost every sport quad ever made uses that size tire, so they are expensive due to the shortage. In not trying to be a dick, Im just steamed I lost another auction for a pos set of tires for over 100 dollars with 50% tread. I can get em brand new for 110 at the store. I just need 1 or 2 for my "guest" bike. wtf!?!?! ::
  14. eventually no matter what it will build up from unspent emissions. A motor running very rich will accumulate that build up much quicker though.
  15. carbs are all Id worry about. Empty the tank and bowl and oil the floats up. In a normal motor, ID say just run through some lucas stabilizer, but I dunno about the mixed gas.
  16. the aircraft stripper should do the trick
  17. try to find a wire brush with a long stem and stick it in the end of a screw gun after swishing around some paint thinner or something in there. then fill it with gunk engine brite foam to soak for 10 min or so then wash it out with a hose and let it dry out.
  18. well dont try a wire brush because you will be pissed trying to sand out all the scratches it left everywhere. try to locate some heavy duty paint stripper.
  19. I did mine, looks fn great. the paint they put on those covers is ON THERE though. blasting would be the most efficient method Im sure. Heres mine, A little scuffed and needing re polished, but for a visual.....
  20. might get some stuff. Im an ebay whore. I have to sheck my sprocket hub and axle for wear. Ive been hearing some slippage on hard accelleration and tight turns.
  21. slipping clutch and or bad seal. I have to change my fluid all the time from burning up clutches. If its milky whitish more so than grey, you might be takin on water.
  22. PWR radiators are to atv motors as griffin/be cool radiators are to big block chevys. Anything bare aluminum will work great though. Aluminum conducts heat very well. fin structure and inner tube size would prob be the only difference. want rigid fins and big tubes.
  23. Did you check that idler gear to see if the circlip and washer were on it. Its the one the kicker gear slides out to and turns halfway behind the clutch basket. Try to put the kick lever on there and hold it straight and see if its lining up with the idler gear. Otherwise you just prob have to turn adjust that kicker gear to the left ot right a notch.
  24. what answer do you think your going to get on a BANSHEE website!
