  1. bad oil seal maybe, pushing compression preasure into the tranny section may blow it out of the hose.
  2. they are worth $75 at least,. I mean look at the triple chrome job on those beauties,. must have used 2 cans to get that awesome luster man common. I mean usually when you use the chrome paint, it just looks like silver paint, but not those.
  3. Is it possible your old one was stretched?
  4. thats not a bad deal.
  5. I hope it doesnt matter becuase I dont have a title either.
  6. just a couple weeks away,. is it still on?
  7. I have 2 sets right her ein FL. oh well.
  8. Id start with compression and carb syncing. if that is in order, then deal with jetting n all
  9. I wouldnt mine going. I have to wait till my next paid vacation which I think is next may`ish. I prefer hardpacked though because its faster It would be fun to whip around the dunes though and hit some hills.
  10. I dunno, I dont care what it costs, Im more worried about being allowed in at all with a 2 stroke. they still leting em in? Id rather ride somewhere free anyways. Either way. But its on, Im firing her up in the next couple days, my plastic is getting painted tomorrow, and goin out this weekend.
  11. half hour burnouts.
  12. half hour long burnouts. we get it. knock it off. I ride mine in trails all the time. And faster than most everyone out there. I guess it depends on what you mean by trails though.
  13. One of mine has a ripped boot. Want a newer pair. with outers too if available. dont need big ass draggers, just 4" or so.
  14. been sold, but its been bought once before and never paid for, so we`ll see.
  15. Banshee rear. ugly, needs repainting, but bearings are not loose and spin free and its all in good shape. Its a good functioning axle, just looks like crap. listed for 145 shipped on ebay, hq get it 120 shipped. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...318233&rd=1
  16. cdi, reg, harness with all ends except maybe tors, coil, key switch with key and mounting hardware, on/off headlight switch. $95 shipped. With stator,... $145 shipped. It all works, motor was run same day bike was taken apart. Somebody won the listing on eBay and never paid. Listing.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...rksid=p3907.m32
  17. I used paint stipper on mine. Like the guy above said that paint is REALLY on there. with the clutch cover, I got most of it off with stipper and scotch brite pads and then used a pliable wire brush on a die grinder to finish. On my cylinders, I took it all down with my dremel with a 220 whick also took out the numbers and shrp edges,. then cleaned up the rest by hand with 320, then 400, then 600, then polished em. its best to go all the way to like 3000 to get a mirror chrome look though. If you just want the bare look, cover the machined areas mostly to keep out crap and have them blasted. It might cost a little, but it would be ALOT less ageerrrrrr :verymad: vating
  18. Comes with all this plus pushrod ball. Its in better shape than the pictures make it look. This was used in my banshee for the past 9 months and worked great. the only reason Im selling it is because I got a whole new motor instead of rebuilding mine. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...317740&rd=1
  19. there should be a black/white, and black/ red wire, and then a red wire and a brown wire which I think are larger than the first 2. tapping the black/white with black/red together and then the red and brown together will bypass the need for any starting switch. then you simply put he bike on run on the headlight switch to start and off to duhh. I got an old key switch and cut it on that side of the harness, so my main harness remained unspliced. That way to, if ever you wanted to leave it "unstartable" you just unplug the little spliced plug in and take it with you,. like a key.
  20. My search turned up empty.
  21. sure do still have..... http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZmorbidtwistabu
  22. prob vf3`s. they time air into the motor and a certain vacuum point, and trap it from escaping. like an intake valve. a better reed will open easier, and shut better and last longer without bending, warping, or breaking. A better one will also open more allowing more air/fuel in.
  23. either one of 2 of what nyuk said, or the clip for the water impeller. Most likelly from the shift fork rods.
  24. I have some boyesen carbon reeds on stock cages on ebay for like $25 or so, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...947244&rd=1
