  1. Ive been twisting banshees since 95. I dont have any problems with it at woops or anything. On accident, they can both have ups n downs. Its harder to power brake and burn off half of your tires in one spot with a twist if your one of those. :ermm:
  2. Ive had some of their stuff. It was all garbage. When the stator went, I sent it back and got another. Then I sold it on eBay wit my recipt so when it broke again, the poor bastard that bought it coud get another,. then I used the money to get a stock stator which works GREAT! F ricky stator. The hardware,. might as well have used plastic bolts with red thread locker.

  8. My little trick is to take a drywall screw or simular and screw it into the seal, and then pull on the screw with pliers. Sometimes the screw will hit the casing and push it out alittle too.

  10. Ive been running .1 over pistons, and Ive ran it just a hair rich on the main, stock rad, billet impeller, and straight engine ice, and have had not problems. I think those tiny inline coolers are a bunch of BS. I also have a noss head making 157 lbs, and +5 degree timing.

  12. Ive been wanting those elkas for some time now though. Those stockers SUCK! When your compression gets down, have TDR do your cylinders. Hes in Punta Gorda now too.

  14. maybe you need to adjust the air screws or pilot jets for more gas at idle. You prob need to re jet the mains too if you didnt

  16. what it says. yellow tank cover and radiator shroud. doesnt have to have the grill insert.
  17. Ive got a stock head in the grage from a part bike that made 150psi a cylinder,. so Im sure its milled. $25 shipped
  18. did you ever check the pickup gap? Tried different plugs? swap flywheels.
  19. If you have power at your coil for sure, you should have spark. Check your gaps @ pick up and plugs. are the orange and black on the coil the right side? You can check a stator and coil with a contenuity tester. Also dumb, but I have done it before and gotten so mad,... is it turned on ?
  20. ah yea, to add to that,. when I do that,. I like to seal up the exaust and carbs (airbox off) soak the motor with gunk engine degreaser for 10 min and preasure wash that sucker to prevent annoying grains of dirt getting in anywhere. One grain can do alot of nasty. Not to mention your hands will be clean on taking it apart.

  22. Back in the day when these bikes where new, one of the big mags did a write up on the two and the 500 came out on top barelly. I had a guy living near me, thats all he would ride,. he had like 4 of those things in his garage with a few incomplete and those fkrs where fast! Your bike would stomp a stock 500 with the mods,. so it depends on what hes go goin on inside the frame rails. If they wherent so hard to come across and so frikin ugly, Id have one.
  23. Its a stock one. I tried taking the smaller check ball out, and that seemed to help some. But some still came out when Id rattled it good.
  24. Yea, I can hear the preasure escape when I loosen the cap. Guess thats an excuse to buy a fancy new cap.
  25. This has been happening for some time now, and its starting to piss me off. On a full tank everything is fine, but once it gets down lower than a half, gas just will not stop comming up out of the vent tube. I have an extra long peice of it cut and looped and tied off, and gas will come out like it just out of the petcock damn near. I have to loosen the cap for it to stop and if I tighten it again, itll start again. If I dont tie it off its the same,. no matter what variable. Bad cap?
