  1. Cascade Billet one. They are nice and work well. www.cascadeinnovations.net
  2. Not trying to start anything, but there was someone on here in a pervious post that did his stockers. He cured them with lamps instead of an oven.
  3. I would just get a new one. They are like 15 bucks. Other wise you are going to be getting a used part that could be on its last leg. A wore one will eat your chain up pretty bad so get new, save yourself some $$$ later down the road.
  4. Its not too smart to come over here and take a shot at dajogejr and firehead. Those two guys are pretty well known and respected over here. Good luck to you finding the stuff you need, you have just lost a lot of respect on this site for sure.
  5. I would say it wasnt prepped right. I was telling the people who were going to PC my bros frame about what yours was doing, and they said it most likley was not prepped right, or cured right. Sucks, but thats probably what did it.
  6. Does it work right after it is warmed up? If they sit a little while without riding, the clutch wont work perfectly until its warmed up a bit. Not sure if that helps, but something to think about.
  7. makes very little difference. But hey, if you are out riding and getting muddy, you just as well get dirty. But really the front fenders dont do squat.
  8. Just get rid of the stupid thing. I dont even know anybody that still has in on there.
  9. This is a little off topic, but I have personally seen this vinyl wrap Mike is doing, and it looks great. The pics do it no justice at all. The images are clean, and clear. I am currently getting some stuff wrapped as we speak. I just wanted everybody to know how good this stuff actually is, looks amazing and is very durable. I cant wait to get mine back!
  10. Those 6"ers will stay fine. Mine are way big and hang fine.
  11. The rubber in the intake holds it fine. Ive got big ass filters and 35mm carbs and they arent going anywhere. It will work fine for you, no worries!
  12. I would seriously buy one. It is going to be a hard thing to make if youve never seen one before. I would mess it up for sure.
  13. Heres what I do... Seems like the cutting the fenders question has been asked a bunch, so I thought I would post how we do them. Here is what I started with... Measure off your tape lines to get it all even... I draw on my tapeline with a Sharpie marker so I have a permanent line to cut along... Cut along the line, I wanted right outside to get where I needed to be... Used a Dremel with a large cut off wheel Sand the edges down... Finished with the cut... These are going to be painted, but thats how I cut em.
  14. Welcome to HQ... great place and full of very helpful people.
  15. I recently got a bunch of jets from www.jetsrus.com and they are great. Good prices, and had my mains and pilots in 2 days. If anybody needs jets, check these guys out!
  16. Im going to sit here and watch the nuggets play, then go to bed. Im only 23 but go to bed like a 49 year old LOL...
  17. I say fuck planet sand all together. I signed up over there, read a couple posts and it was all a bunch of bullshit aruging over simple stupid shit. I think that site is a waste of time. I think HQ should ditch the add for PS.
  18. Am I still narrow minded or are you going to tell all these guys their opinions are bullshit too Wallrat?
  19. Majicmike is that guy and you can PM him here on HQ. Great guy to deal with, I would highly suggest getting the locker and cover from him. Easy and wont be too expensive!
  20. Here is a pic of mine... To the guy that asked... the point of a locker is so high HP bikes dont just smoke the clutch, you get power through the clutch to the ground.
  21. When you get a new washer, look and you will see where it can be bent down onto one flat side of the nut, that will prevent it from coming loose again... Hope that works for ya.
  22. I sold him a stock basket.... really really cheap. Thats why he needs to get it riveted back together.
  23. At the rate im going, I will be well over 30 by the time I get there... lol way to go
  24. I really dont know.... I took mine apart for the inside gear, and switched to straight cuts and a billet basket. Maybe the Yamaha dealer could rivet it back for you? I really dont know.
  25. There is a washer that locks the nut in place by bending down a tab. It most likely wasnt bent the first time, the nut came off, and now came off again since the washer was all ground up. Get a new nut, and new lock washer and put it back togehter, should work.
