Wow... doesnt sound too fun. If it was that scary I would just replace the axle and not worry about it anymore. You can get a g-force from rockymountainatv.com for $199. They have a lifetime warrenty, and width adjustibility. I would not put up with that kind of stuff, but im anal about my bike. If it looks shady at all, its gone for me. I would replace it, 200 dollars for an axle is a lot cheaper then the harm you could do you yourself if that came off at high speeds.

If you use that link climb posted up, you dont need to wet sand the primer to 1000 like I did before. I did my new set to 800 and they are turned out great. I used fusion for all of it this time and it turned out great. You can really bend that fusion and it will not crack, good stuff.

Im with loco. You should check that out. In wyoming you can pretty much drive shit faced. The limit here is pretty high.

I sent a set to Denver for 22 bucks and a set to Connecticut (SP?) for 28 bucks. The ones I got in a garbage bag were just wrapped in about 3 bags, taped up and sent.

These pics are kind of akaward to look at because all the plastics are on, but you can see where everything is mounted. Coil stays in the same place, moves the CDI up there with a nice easy place to get to, and protected. (Oh yeah, check out that chrome chipping off my brand new shearers! )

Majicmike got me this plate deal that mounts behind the radiator, around the steering stem. The CDI mounts under there and it cleans up the wiring a bunch. I only have 3 wires on my whole bike. I dont have headlights or taillight, but this plate deal looks really nice. I will go snap a pic of it real quick for everybody to see...

If you didnt jack up the hole in it, it should be OK. I had a couple jets that were kinda chewed up on my KFX and they worked ok. Oh, and the only dumb question is the one not asked!

Im not going to argue with you, but Im seriousley ive never got charged for it. I send tires for like 25 bucks, and they have never told me anything about that 5 bucks. Maybe the store I go to forgets or something. Im not going to tell them though! LOL

Ive never had a fee for no cardboard. Ive sent tires, a bumper, and a set of plastics that way with no fee.

I got a set that were in a heavy duty garbage bag all taped up once. They will take anything.

You can send stuff UPS shrink wrapped. Ive sent several sets of tires that way with no box or fee for not having a box. I hate USPS, they are so damn slow its not even funny. They would be better off going back to the pony express... I use UPS of fedex for everything. Not trying to get off topic, but you can use UPS like that too. :thumbsup:

Shearers.... that may be the best part of my 421. When you get on the pipe hang on. Shearers compliment a 421 cubby nice.

Maybe you already have some, but when you get aluminum polish mothers has some new stuff out that called Incredible Billet Metal Polish. I think you get way better shine from it vs. normal mothers.

I am wanting to check interest in my shocks on my Banshee. I would really like to get a set of Elkas for it and just wanted to see if anybody would be interested in my YFZ shocks. They are revalved for a 220lb rider, fronts have blue springs, rear is yellow, (why I dont want them, I weight 150 soaking wet). If you want pics I can put them up, but I am really only seeing if this is a do-able sale. I was thinking like $550 for all of them, I see them on ebay close to that. Also open to trades for YFZ elkas, works, shocks. I need YFZ shocks though, because I sold my alba a-arms and I am putting YFZ arms on it.
