  13. I have a few things for sale. You guys get first crack, but they will be put up for auction on e-bay sunday night. 1. Set of stock cylinders .04 over (65mm) virgin port. These are in great shape ! $175 shipped (continental US) 2. Used Weisco Prolite Pistons 795 series for 66mm. These come with rings and wristpins and wristpin bearings. They have very low hours and look near new. They do have a small pit on the top side but it does not look like it is anything that will affect their performance. $100 shipped (continental US) 3. Set of stock cylinders .08 over (66mm) nice port work by LA cycle. These are polished and look pretty good. Make offers ! (good offers.....I already lost money on these) I bought these from a guy on P/S. They have some light pitting from corosion in the cylinder wall. It is not that deep, looks like a .010 hone (66.25mm) will clean it up. But I have a 4mil crank and the 795 prolite pistons are not offered that big. The other option for using with a 4mil is some Blaster pistons at 66.25mm. They were advertised as ported for a 4mil. ("as agressive as you can get without going full drag" the seller said.) They are not that aggressive. I measured the exhaust and transfer port openings and Jim at PRE put the #s into his software and said these will work with both a 4mil and a stock stroke. Port timing is as follows : 4mil stroke - Transfer duration = 126.88 Exhaust duration = 195.15 Stock stroke - Transfer duration = 119.69 Exhaust duration = 187.44 Make offers ! (good offers.....I already lost money on these cuz I'm running a 4mil) Again, these do look good and will work good with a stock stroke crank. That is all for now. But I will have a coolhead with 19cc domes available very soon !!
  14. Bansh-eman is a standup guy. He lives up to his word and that's getting hard to find. He sold me parts, shipped them fast, and they came as described. Couldn't ask for an easier transaction. Thanks Greg.

  18. Yeah, What he said  Daves the man
  19. 4130 is not as hard as most people think. But the key is going to be in using that #2 center drill. You can probably pick up a good HSS one for $2-3 at your local industrial supply store.
  20. If you have no access, you can get it done without a press. Just make a good mark with a center punch and use a #2 center drill to start the hole. the larger drill will follow no problem.
  21. ?? Mostly true in this case because the only tuning adjustment on the throttle cable itself is the Syncronizing. The rest is in the jets and needle position. I doubt you'll need to do more than syncing unless you made other major change(replacing air box with pods, removing air box lid, etc....)
  22. Man, if you are only 22 having that problem you better quit drinking now ! lol When you hit mid 30s + it will really kick your ass.
