  1. NOSS is a sponsor here on the site, he sells cool-heads and will give you a great deal.
  2. I've got one that came with my 'shee when I bought it. It's at my buddies house, and I'm in school in another town, but I will be home in 1 1/2 weeks and have a list of stuff to get pics of to people. It's brand new in the package.
  3. If anyone's thinkin of doing this, I highly recommend goin over to yfzcentral.com. It's a bunch of great, quality guys that will give you some killer deals. If you want I can give you the emails of some of the other guys I was workin deals with...some were nearly this good.
  4. I picked up YFZ a-arms, shocks, tie-rods w/ ends, spindles, brake calipers, rotors, and lines for $350 shipped. Once I found that deal I couldn't turn it down. I was expecting to pay at least $250 just for the shocks, so I am STOKED about the deal I found. All the stuff was pulled 2 days after the quad was bought so it's all brand new...did I mention I'm happy about the deal I got? LOL I'll post some pics up of the conversion, and I'm not sure if I'm the 1st one to try to swap over everything...i.e. yfz spindles/brakes and all. I'll be sure to take alot of pictures.
  5. No that sounds more like hillclimbing, riding a road, doing donuts, and hitting a cheesy track...not trails  LOL But onto subject...I'd use your black one for the trails and turn this one into a hillclimber/duner/dragger...it's damn near setup for it already.
  6. Not to mention choking off the motor...but you're basically throwing money away building a 421 to ride trails, lol. Unless you really want to ride 'em, then I'll trade ya straight up for the 421
  7. Oh yeah I've ridden all of 'em, and let me say they're SWEET on the 'shee. It's such a rush just pinnin the throttle and taking off up one of 'em.
  8. Call me crazy, but where's buttercup at LS? I've heard of Olds at Glamis and the China Wall, but didn't know any of the dunes at LS were named...
  9. Head over to yfzcentral.com for a screamin deal on some yfz shocks...I just picked up a whole front end and got a helluva deal.
  10. Pipes really depend on what kinda ridin you're going to do. Looks like that 'shee is headin in the drag race/duning direction to me. Ridin trails on a 421 would be pretty interesting. I'd stick with the shearers, and maybe a dual 34 or 35mm carb.
  11. What is the elevation there in AR? Also what temps are you riding in?
  12. You came up walkin after that? Man, that's amazing. I CANNOT imagine what'd it'd be like, I feel like I'm flyin forever when I hit a jump and go 20 ft. LOL
  13. WOW, when did this happen?
  14. Man yfzcentral.com has a TON of stock stuff, I just joined and sent about 10 pm's. A couple of the a-arms need new balljoints, and I was wondering how much these cost and how hard they are to replace? Are they pressed in like the 'shee ones?
  15. I didn't realize you had the YFZ shocks beforehand. I've heard they raise the height by 1 to 1 1/2 inches anyways...so sounds like back to around stock 'shee a-arm and shock height.
  16. I badly need the front shaft with gears from the tranny. I had 1 gear get hot and welded itself to the shaft. PM me if you're willing to part out the tranny.
  17. I've got a buddy that has an '06 yfz450 and he's upgraded to aftermarket everything so I'm gonna see if he will sell all his stuff to me real cheap. If he will I will definately be doing this. One ?...will the front end sit lower no matter what? Or can it be adjusted to sit at stock height?
  18. Well I would guess that's the powerband that you're hitting but maybe not. I leaned out my needle (move clip towards blunt end) and it really woke up the mid-range. I still need to do some tuning on the pilot circuit to get it starting better.
  19. Umm, dont light bulbs turn on quickly? Guess I'm confused on this statement. And on the air screw...turning in= less air/richer, turning out=more air/leaner.
  20. You could be leaking crank oil into the right cylinder and when it burns that off it would smoke really bad. Not really sure what all symptoms you can look at to diagnose if it is this tho, besides losing oil obviously.
  21. Sure why not, you can paint nearly anything. Sure why not, you can paint nearly anything.
  22. Does anyone have the Pro Grip goggles that are suppose to be Light Sensitive? I was wondering if they actually made a difference?

    a-arm

No they're not, unless you want to bust the bad one out and weld a new one in...and trust your welding to hold
  24. If you're worried about people keeping up with you or you being too fast, I'd go with the 400ex. It'd be the perfect trail bike IMO...and with just a few mods they're not "slow" by any means really, especially if you're riding trails.
  25. Alright I'm lookin at these 3 now: Progrip: http://www.rockymountainatv.com/productDet...mp;navType=type Spy: http://www.rockymountainatv.com/productDet...mp;navType=type Smith: http://www.rockymountainatv.com/productDet...mp;navType=type
