  1. No Way! How'd that happen?? Sure Dumont is better than Pismo where I'm going this weekend but already have plans for the same reason to avoid the heat & just enjoy the beach!! I'll prob show up there in Nov.. Hope the death is a lie!!
  2. Congrats guys!! That's badass Dan!!
  3. Anything will get you around if you need an ATV. Ask him to let you ride it first. Take it thru some trails & climbs. A friend has one & I don't like it. It's really heavy & slides when trying to corner around cliff trails [kinda scarry]. Because the topend of the bike is heavy it also tends to be tipsy when doing some climbs & whooping it around. I can see the convinience of electric start but see no purpose for reverse. Either way, hope you get back to riding!! That's what it's all about!
  4. Why a 4 stroke, no powerband there! You're ride won't be as enjoyable. Grab another Banshee!!!
  5. This guy: http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showuser=18091
  6. I like that too & yeah let's see how clean the bars look. You can also get the swiches with a blue light on them so you can see them at night. You do alot of mud/wet riding?
  7. Exactly.. And aftermarket will last you way longer than that stocker!
  8. I'm not doing any biz with him.. Seemed really good in the beginning, almost too good to be true! I was just following up on this because I'll eventually need a swingarm, I'll never need a Brockman though. Sucks for these guys you know. No Parts = No Riding!!
  9. Happy Ending, Good For You!
  10. That's an ugly site there.. Sorry about that shitty experience. The frame didn't melt so everything else is rebuildable. Take that insurance cash and build it back up!
  11. Still want that footage :ninja:
  12. Orange is 2008, the Yfz450 is coming out with the same color. I dig those orange plastics, it would look better on the black frame though. Dealership prices might be pretty expensive now. Order the orange plastic from Maier & have Chase whoop you up the decals
  13. Funny you mentioned that. I've been following that thread over at YFZ Central & saw the people who got stiffed! I couldn't find the link but if you do, maybe link it up in here. Really hope you riders get your stuff back!! I'm surprised this thread hasn't been pinned
  14. Ha Haaa.. That's pretty damn funny!! The 400 is a good cruiser for the trails. I like the sonic boom that the Banshee creates.. My girl and I rode trails this weekend, she doesn't like the 4 stroke ride.. She rather ride the Banshee because she loves that powerband feel. We'll be shopping for her bike soon, most likely will have to a Banshee!
  15. I had the same concerns because I'm a trail rider as well.. I ride & climb some nasty shit!! So I chopped them off anyway & have no probs.. Crap kicks out the back, never up! Having a +2 axle & offset rims helps keep the dirt, gravel, rocks etc away!! Now go do some chopping and post up them pix
  16. Thanks for bringin it back! I was getting kinda scared there for a minute!!
  17. Give us the details on how you get them repaired. This is going to help me in the future. Thanks.
  18. Wow!! You just got the Shee too. I remember you being stoked/excited about it  Ride the beast again, bring back that fire sarg!!!
  19. Nice, a laker bike  Time to get busy with the black Welcome to BHQ & get ready for the addiction
  20. Yes it does, increases compression in your combustion chamber. Smaller domes, more compression!
  21. WHAT????? That's bullshit! You don't need his product anymore, just ask for your $$$!!
  22. I thought I saw Magic Mike modify a stock one??
  23. I think they go for $225 from NOSS or FAST. Comes with choice of domes and Oring kit. I'm sure you know to dump the coolant out before attacking the installation. Used light amounts of grease to seat those rings & make sure cylinder surface is clear from debris. You can put the spark plugs on the domes and drop them in along with the bottom plate. [Makes guidance easy.] Remove the plugs and drop the top piece in and start torquing in 5lbs increments.. Go 5,10,15,20. Follow the stud pattern as shown on the stock head!
  24. Yeaup, just like the Wave Runners, Jet Ski's!
  25. Nice find.. Maybe the moderators can pin up this link
