  1. You want to have new orings for it as well. Don't use the old ones. There's nothing to the assembly. Using a pinch of grease, run the rings thru your fingers. This will help those orings keep in place as you drop it in. Keeping the spark plugs on the domes will give you something to hold it from as you drop the bottom half in along with domes. Then place the next cool head plate over & ready to torque in increments of 5lbs. Follow the same pattern as shown on stock head.
  2. This is all you need & you're good! I had to use a big wrench with pipe over it to get the first stock locknut off, second one wasn't budging so I attacked with the grinder. I didn't use loctite either. The G Force uses a posi locknut. No prob's here.
  3. I have the mod quad billet one but figure the plastic ones would eat up, slow down a snapped chain better than having it jam up in the billet one? Just a thought though. I found mine for $25 shipped so i took it.
  4. Yo Zach! They're a great performance shop & HQ sponsor! FAST is simply loved around here for who they are and what they do for the site. Have you seen the amount of customers running FAST motorwork? Take a look around! Those are some very happy customers. Give FAST a call for whatever you may need. It's guaranteed customer satisfaction, some of the nicest knowledgable people over there!
  5. Start with the engine. How's your compression? Looks like the airbox is still in place? I'd throw that out and replace with pods, move up on jetting. You racing the bikes on dirt, sand, street? Need better rubber for sure! My pipes are blacked out too!
  6. Not necessarily, Here's HQ member Hollisapt at Pismo Beach this summer. Had the same prob. Simply tipped the Banshee over & pulled the cover. Lost some coolant but saved the gear oil. He's working on the same prob you have.
  7. I too had the same problem. Same lever.. Talking about the whole right cover. Here's a pic from the inside of the cover, I think you only removed the center cap as you can see it thru the backside?
  8. What the hell.. I'll climb with you  Under my same name!
  9. I don't even think you can kick em' over under 100. Stock should be 130psi.
  10. Wow! Did you see the description? "Banshee stock piston just like new in a 04 bike been out for 2 years went to lighter pistons!!" Somebody better jump on that swinger, they only come around once in a great while!!!!!!!
  11. Yeah.. seen it before.. How will you ride on water when the quad bottoms out and cracks that fiberglass?
  12. Take the clutch cover off. Loosen the middle nut from the clutch system. That will loosen the clutch arm, Simply adjust it and tighten up that clutch nut. Squeeze that lever and see how you like it  Throw that cover back on & you're ready to rock!
  13. Damn, i thought there was hope there for a second!
  14. Yo Casper, make sure you get that wheelie bar for that 400! That's a live beast, gotta make sure that front end stays on the floor  :yelrotflmao:
  15. I like rippen & booker's setup. Looks clean & right where you can see it in case that needle makes a sudden move! Wouldn't the ESR one sit down between the pipes where you can't see it while hauling some ass?
  16. All bikes will smoke, more if it's cold. Are you running too rich? What do the plugs look like & what's your jetting setup?
  17. I don't know there's any maintenance you need on these a arms since heims are dry. Pump that grease gun into the zerks where the a arms bolt on & good to go! That 1200 setup does sound convincing though!
  18. Not bad of a price at all! Shane: Look around, I've seen these A Arms used a couple times. I bought my set used $380 & Minkia had a set not long ago for the same price or so.
  19. Right on!! What did it cost you for that heim if you don't mind me asking? I want to order an extra set. I have the MX version Quicksands & run em thru some nasty stuff & pc is still in tact. Chrome uppers still look brand new.
  20. I approve, I always loose them no matter how hard I tryi to keep em secure. I dig this mod & understand about making the frame weak but I think Shee can handle it. Good job & props on the mod !
  21. Just curious how you broke it? I run the same a arms & run thru whooops on 5th, no prob
  22. That's dope, I'm using that at work tomorrow! :yelrotflmao: I'll be riding the 2 strokes too but not on sand, taking a trip to the lake & ride the 700cc 2Stroke Polaris!
  23. I like how you guys do it big, actually huge every year!! Props! P.s. I'm sure I'll be there again come Nov.. ...Been wanting to night ride Dumont
  24. It won't affect comp. Comp sits between the head & rings. Reeds wouldn't effect it, I have some stockers if you need em!
