Thats how it works man just make sure the outer "reverse threads" are seated as far down as possible some people hae problems with them stripping I personally never have. Then tighten the inner bolt all the way down till the flywheel comes loose I normally use an impact it makes it alot easier process. The flywheel only goes on one way. Hope I helped you

I agree its impossible pretty much to advance timing with a spark plug. I agree you could retard due to the resistance but never ever advance it especially 2 degrees without a timing plate or dyna, Etc. I think the power increse you feel is the Boost Bottle effect its all in your mind

I am a tried and true SST guy just always had good luck with them but T5's are good to cant deny that Vforce all the way for all around power and advance the timing helps alot with down low power

My plugs turn red every once in awhile when I use certain brands of Racing fuel it must be the additives in them.

I go to St. Joe every weekend and they have no decibel limit as long as you have a flag and dont drink you can pretty much do watever you like or will.

They are still being produced in Canada I believe? Have you tried to contact a yamaha dealer there if not for the parts but maybe the part numbers. Just an idear

I hope you had them honed after if not your rings are probally shot from the lip created from porting the cylinders????????????
