You can get away with it as long as your cylinder walls are fine. You can find the whole Piston kit with gaskets around $230. Try Magic Racing. I don't thinnk it's hard at all. Slide the cylinders off & remove the circlip holding the Piston to the Rod.

Just curious at to what the problem is for future reference.. I know I have a bit of corrosion on my wheel & got me thinkin.......

I remember that $5 subscriction fee stunt they pulled over there... Many PS's jumped to HQ ship & that's when PS decided to cancel their bad move. I actually had something to say on a PS thread involving some friends.. Nothing bad going on, just a small dispute.. PS edited the posts by the next day.. Friggin ridiculous.. I've never seen an open forum that is so petty with stupid posting regulations.. Reason for edit indicated "Stay On Topic" and it was some introduction thread... .. Just stupid!

Welcome to BHQ!!!! Glat you found the fix. There's always going to be an easy fix to the Banshee.. Nothing is too complicated. I'm not a Banshee Mechanic but always end up working on it myself. Just keep reading thru the forums and you'll find more than enough info needed. Till this day I've yet to take my shee to a shop. :thumbsup: I don't think helmets are that big of a deal, I spend a little over 100 bux where ever I find a deal.. I bought an Oneal for $80 & a Fox $125 for the kid.. Save your chips for some pipes!! :thumbsup: Take pics of your intake, air filter, carbs, etc so we can see wutcha have!!

And I suppose I can buy a drill bit kit & do my own portwork lol.

I didn't think of the easiest way possible, there's a motorcycle shop a mile away. They been there 40 years so I'm sure they can help one way or the other. Cycle Gear is around the corner from my job. I go there to buy gear, oils, etc... Dudes over there are cocky dicks that seem to have a stupid opinion when I say a ride an atv & it's a Banshee! Apparantly, the Banshee doesn't put out good HP & Engine Ice wouldn't help me. Also learned that Banshee's start fires! Wow!!! Anyhow, there's one cool guy there that knows his stuff, maybe I'll go by tomorrow for a quick chat. Thanks guys, ony one else???? Feel free to drop in your recomendations!!

Can someone recomend me a good shop for a good price. There's shops around here but they have to send it out and make an extra buck off me. I'd like to be able to take it to the source & it would be a plus if I can walk out that shop with a new piston kit too! Thanks.
