  3. HI all, I've installed a temp gadge and it's always going to 200-210 near 220 degree... Can someone tell me what is the max coolant temperature? my gadge indicate 220 in red zone... And the other question... why am I gettin that much temperature? My main jet looks to be good size... I checked everything I can and I now have no idea! P.s: I'm at job I didnt have time to make a search thank you for answer.

  5. hum k the question is: do you think acceleration would be acceptable with a 15 tooth front sproket with my mods? First time I asked about that people told me I didnt have enough mods and it'd be a pain to accelerate... wanted your opinion with my new setup
  6. My question is: with the mods listed in my signature, would I be able to run 15 teeth front sproket without loosing too much acceleration? I still have stock gears and I like my acceleration but dont like my top speed (aprox 115 km/h) I know i'd just have to try it to answer my question but I'd like your opinion first thank you
  7. Is there any good filter that stop water for the shee? I'd like to take the air box cover off but when I go in some water the shee rev a lot and it's not a good feeling... I already asked it last summer but didnt have any solutions...
  8. #3 question is how do you torque your spark plug when the head is hot? for the plug chop test for jetting... and do you think that my slow idle problem cloud be jetting or it can depend on any mod? How did u know the flywheel nut came loose?

Hi all Today I installed my vforce3, timing plate and changed my dome and I have some question... 1: For vforce I had to cut some rubber on the intake something special or just cut all what is over? its what I did 2: Is there anyway to torque the fly wheel without the tool to keep it in place? I just torqued it with impact gun 3: The engine idle slow I didnt look at anything... cuz last time I did plug chop I stripped the thread in the right dome I suppose its because I torqued it too much when the engine was hot is it possible? I dont want to buy a 3rd set of dome at 150cnd lol We have aprox 1 feet of snow at this time and I tryed my 4snow it works great :biggrin: Thank you for any answer

  11. I just changed the main... I run 300main right now cuz its cold outside... last summer I ran 270main... I was talking about all other jets... they are all stock dajogejr is there anyway to look for detonation safely?
  12. Okay thanks guy I'll keep an eye on the plugs for sure temperature vary a lot here... for example last week I worked outside at -23 and at the end of the day it was at 24 :sweat: I just wanted to know if my pilot and the rest of stock jet should be good... thank you guys!
  13. I just ordered vf3 I'm gonna add my timing plate set to +4 and run 50/50 91/110 octane fuel should I change de jetting for the vforces or do I have to do anything with the air screw? These screw scare me I never touched them and it looks hard to set what's your opinion? thank you

  17. Drag pipe for trail/pit? never tryed it... For +4 swinger I asked in the suspension section and everyone told me I'm good with the stock one... Yea I'm gonna get a set of vforce3 reeds valve I'll get billet impeller too For the suspension I'm thinking to do something with it too... maybe a yfz450 suspension should be nice I'm not jumping a lot... I got a noss cool head with 21cc domes already installed my top end has like 15 hours of use I got a timing plate but I didnt install it yet cuz I'll probably have to run 50/50 with race fuel (91 octane fuel pump here) Lightened flywheel... Is this really good for me? I've read some thread about it and some people say its not bad for dune... Thank you to answer we learn more each time... :thumbsup:

  19. Did someone try it? Is it a good way for less restriction than lid but still can ride in water? If it'd stop water I think I'd buy that (120$)
  20. To give you an idea I paid a namura piston kit 120$ and I paid 70$ for customs... we have funny surprise in canada when we order from usa some times... And the piston kit is still in the box for last 4-5 months...

Hi I'm planning to buy a 4mm stroker long rod hotrod crank, get it trued/welded, mx ported cyl, add vf3 reeds and change my carb maybe for next summer (depends on budget) (should I change my fmf fattys for t5s or I'm good with those?) And I'd like to know wich size carb would be appropriated for this setup (trail, pit) probably will u tell me that 1carb setup would be the best... wich size/mark/intake? do you have a link to see what I'll need? and I'd like to know what crank bearing/components I'll need to have a strong engine... Tz bearing? can someone tell me why it is better? so I'd like to know what you personally would do with a similar project :thumbsup: Feel free to any suggestion! thank you all!
  23. hum in my mind 91 octane is good enough for 125psi compression... if you'd be between 150-160 maybe there would be chance of detonation... I dont know why revving high would change compression if your setup is right...
  24. there is always some people like that on any forum... I'm admin of a trapping forum and we had like 2-3 that only search trouble.... I'd say you can tell us your opinion but you should be polite... and it's not cuz I'm not perfect in english that I'll do ask question here...
