    Hi, I'm planning to change my swing arm this summer I do some drag with friends and some trail riding... What would you buy for these riding style? maybe +2? I dont really know the subject its why I ask you all these question... I want some more stability do I have to change my bearing career? would it be better to get a larger axle? wich one? tell me all I have to know about this please

  4. I have an other topic here "your opinion for main jet" 270main all other stock... stock air box without cover... can I just add cover to make air restriction for temperature compensation or i have to rejet... I don't know any about jetting I never did it my self... the air screw scare me lol

  9. fmf fatty's, pro design air filter without top of box... aprox 1000ft elevation actual's 270 main jet I ran the shee all summer with this jet but some people told me it's too rich and when I changed my head there was a lot of oil on piston and plugs I mix 50:1 motul 800... summer temperature's aprox 68-86 and now temp's 50-23 can I run my 270 main at this temperature or I have to get bigger? and this winter temperature will be between -4 to -31 (Canada/quebec brewwww) Do you guys recommend to use something to keep heat to the engine as an heat shield in those temps? thank you if you take time to answer some of my questions!
  10. I just reasembled my shee after changing my head for a noss cool head with 21cc domes and barnett clutch kit... new spark plugs I try to start it and it doesnt want at all... nothing! Maybe is it a head oring? it doesnt seem to have a lot of compression at kick starter but it have some... when I did the test I seen about 120 but probably my gauge is wrong cuz its what I had with 22cc stock head (aprox 1000-1500 ft elevation) do you have any idea i can try? I've put some gaz in spark plugs holes but still noting... I'm gonna look at spark and compression maybe tomorrow...

  12. Hi all B4 you tell me use the search button I have to say you that I've searched about 45min before I make this post... I'd like someone tell me what cut head mean... I know when you put a stroker crank you have to cut head but what do they cut exactly? And about the stroker... I don't know what will be the best for me i do: trail, mx, drag and I want to have the more power I can but I dont want to have a only mx or a only drag bike... should I get a hotrod stock stroke crank make it weld or am I better with 4mm stroker with my stock cyl or will I buy cub ? if someone can tell me the basic thing I'd have to know about them it'd be cool or if someone have a link to an other post that I didn't find it'd be cool too I know I'll need bigger carb, vf3s, maybe other pipes? and alot of thing too thank ya all for answer!
  13. When I bought my used Fmf fatty's I seen a big difference in power... maybe is it the procircuit that suck? I never tryed them and never heard anything of them all I know is that they make a lot more song than my fmf... with my fmf and pro design air filter I was near to beat a raptor 700 efi... I suppose the 660's easy to beat so... Question's there for people who know pipes... are the pc pipes good or do they make more song than power?

  15. Oh too when I removed my head I seen that the plugs are oil fouled and pistons doesnt look like this (bigred350x pic's from the spliting case post) They have more black on them... I run motul 800 50:1 ratio.... do you have any idea how it can happen? jetting? i run 270 main and all the rest stock jets And an other question... is it normal that the coolant hose from the case is too short to plug near to the top of my noss cool head? I see like 1inch of the blue tube of the head.... do I have to change this tube for a longer one
  16. I tryed to drill into it and I gave up and order the 50$ part... that's stupide All i had to do is torque the 6 bolt and put back the cover and try it! grrr
  17. I hand tightened all bolts b4 torq it... maybe did I not feel the declick...

  19. Okay so I installed noss cool head with 21 cc domes last week... The only thing I can say is that I've ordered it from motoman and I'm not very happy of how they packaged my brand new noss head... the 2 blue metal parts one on the other they knock together (some scratches on paint that cost wath 30 buck ?) and all in box was in news paper... not very professional (In my mind anyway)... About the instalation... not very hard to install but the oring made me say some bad words lol it's very hard to take them in place... I don't know if you have any trick but I had a little paper in box who say use grease to let it stick... and it took me a lot of grease to let the largest oring stick on the head! :tongue: I didnt start the engine because.............. (read about the clutch and youll know :baseball_innocent: ) THe clutch!! Not very hard to install it took me more time to get off all what's around the cover than changing the plates... all was okay but when I tryed to torque the first spring bolt.... THe first bolt... Broken! in the hole... my torq wrench was set to the specs.... why the hell did it happen? is it because de threads are oiled? somone have any idea? so now I'll have to take it off all and change the part who cost 50 cnd and do it again and maybe break a new bolt again? lol thank you to read that long post :baseball_original: feel free to answer!

Hi all if some can answer me before 2-3 hour I'd apreciate :baseball_innocent: I have some question I'm installing barnett clutch kit and I have those questions: Why's there 2 set of 6 spring in the kit? Is it because I have hd spring and normal spring? if yes where do I installe hd and where normal? I suppose I install 1 hd, 1 normal, 1hd, 1norm etc...? I looked in clymer yesterday and they talk about cushion ring in clutch do I have to reuse those with the new clutches plates? thank you to answer fast :yelrotflmao:
  21. I just smoked the 400ex... When we start together i go in front of him fastly and when I miss my start I go search him and go in front again... it's not bad for a 400 he just have cam, pipe, filter but I think he's able to beat or to be next to a complete stock shee with 2 good drivers... dajogejr: I think I'll dont try my 91 alone... I'll probably just mix 50/50
  22. the big problem's that I don't know at all what will a 4mm stroker crank will need as setup... I'll probably have to change something else than crank...
