  1. Hey i just finished my 4mm setup and started the new engine after 7-8 kick with choke on!! yah But now he'll not idle the idle screw are screwd all the way in and its about to idle... I don't know anything at carbs my question is: is it dangerous to let it idle like this with the idle screw all in will it miss gas and oil and damage the engine? I want to make heat cycle...

  4. banshee are 2 stroke... the engine oil is in gas... so u dont have to change it as asked in this thread u just mix your gas with oil and burn it... I personally use motul 800 but there's a lot of oil u can use search button for this one you'll find a lot of post
  5. Finishing my new set up soon need some advice to start well with the jets... new carbs and never knew much about carbs... So I need a safe point to start cuz i'll have to idle it a while for the breaking procedure My mods (i know u dont need all the mods but i'll give all anyway to be sure): -carbs pwk 33mm with pods no air box -Reed vforce 3 -F.a.s.t woods porting -64.5mm 795 series wiseco piston -Fmf fatty's pipes -noss cool head 21 cc domes -4mm stroker 5mm long rod crank -case port matched that's it i think elevation aprox 1000 ft temperature between 59 to 95 (15 to 35 celsius used converter dont know if fahrenheit is correct) runnin motul 800 50:1 in 91 octane gaz I think i didnt forget anything! lol

  7. okok can i do anything else than use three bond ? I cant see why one side's gasket leak and the other is perfect with the same gasket... if I buy an other new gasket do u think it will leak again?
  8. hmmm asked jeff at fast to send me sealant for crank case gasket and he sent me this one he said he use that... if its not good for petroleum my crank case will leak a lot

  10. cool i can suppose that my base gasket is good then... lol i seen bubbles at a reed gasket and at the pipe in the intake that i use for my tester
  11. ok one of my reed gasket leak shit can i put silicone betwen or what can i do else these gasket are brand new just dont fit vforce 3 perfectly
  12. i put 6lbs in my engine and it goes to 5lbs in 50 second is there a leak or is it normal... it's my first leak down test lol
  13. Anyone know where I could find 2 screw clamps for my billet intake? The grooves in rubber are not large enough for the clamps i can find anywhere... they are 5mm less large. Looked in autoparts stores and stuff like this and never found it yet the only one that would fit are not long enough
  14. I wear boxer... lol I have threebond 1211 silicone liquid gasket i think I'll give it a try if some1 had a bad experience with this ty to post it
  15. a old thread but I really can't find gasgasinch sealer here think the clymer's stuff comes from usa and i'm not in usa... anything else I can use? can i use the same sealer as crankcase gasket sealer? went to yamaha and autoparts stores and they dont know what gasgasinch sealer is and they never seen it

  17. In clymer manual they says to measure the ring tichkness cuz they are not the same... the question is, is it the same with wiseco piston/ring?? i do not have a caliper to measure it...

  19. yea np I was just scared that I put the engine together and have to disasamble it cuz there's a problem with trans lol
  20. hmmm I did like clymer says... the crank isnt in yet so I put the upper crank case on and 4 bolt to hold it and turn the shaft by hand and try to shit threw all gears... u think I sould all finish the engine job and put it back in the frame and try to adjust it in frame?
  21. sent shift shaft to fast for the mod and the srew is brand new the return spring is brand new too
