  1. Fixit hit the nail on the head! Thats the easiest way to do it. If you have ne other questiosn let us know!
  2. I too have ran +4 w/ high grae pump, but if I remember correct thats the manufacturers suggestion...might be wrong. But to answer your question Christy, w/ a +4, I would run the best/highest grade of pump fuel availible in your area.
  3. Your right, one is up while the other is down...but the plugs "spark" at the same time. When one is up, it fires while the other is down, I am unsure if its a useless spark, or it burns the left over (unburned) fuel.... Switching the plug wires has no effect of the performance, unless you gotsa bad spark plug wire or cap.
  4. Bleed the line, you'll be ok pump till the pedal is hard, and hold it- the opne the air/bleed screw repeat till the pedal is firm
  5. I THINK you answered your own question...kinda hard to tell tho.....
  6. I think hes havin truble with the brakes..... Which brake are you having trouble with? Rear?Front? Slow cdown, type clearly and tell us more, and we'll get ya fixed up!
  7. Ben/Fixit, I have used both (for drag racing mind you) and done alot of reading, and talkin w/ others about the two sets of reeds. I preffer the TDR's myself, they seem to add a tad bit more top end (1-2mph in the 300ft.) Like fixit stated there are two types of TDR's one for stock motors (.018) and one for modified motors (.020) I run the .018's since they will open easier/quicker. What Ihave heard is .018's for motors under 400cc, .020's for anything bigger, while this may not be right it is what ive heard
  8. yup~! ur crazy!!! No for reals, tell me more...any one else tried this?
  9. Doesnt the manual state to run Premium even in a stock banshee? Wouldnt that put u in the race fuel section if you needed more octane?
  10. MX I see from your other post in the ENGINE section. Duncan makes a very good MX port, aka Paul Turner I believe. My buddy has a National port on hix play bike, thing is a beast on the trails!

He is being taught right, and wont grow up to be one the ppl who give ATV'ers a bad rap.....not starting a flame war, just makin a point.
  14. HELL YA!!! SICK EM BOONY!!! GLAD TO SEE IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO'S NERVES THAT LITTLE SHIT IS GETTIN ON!!! ITS PPL LIKE HIM THAT ARE RUINING THIS BOARD- YES YOU BCK!!! IF YOU DONT HAVE ANYTHING WORTH WHILE TO SAY, PLEASE STFU AND OR GO AWAY! YOUR POSTS AND THOUSANDS OF POLLS ARE WORTHLESS TO THE SITE AND ITS MEMBERS....JUST TAKIN UP GOOD SPACE!!!! ....I feel better now!
  15. Ive said the same thing a hundred times in the last two weeks....this time i'll just second the statement! TDR's are under $50, and most ppl can port them at home. Do a search it has been adressed a hand full of times lately. Best of luck!
  16. Well put NYUK, explains why narrow axles are good for draggin!
  17. Save the money, go w/ either Boyesen or TDR's on ported stock cages... Lotsa poerformance increase, ALOT less money! Then you can do more w/ the left over cash Check ebay there are usually plenty of reeds and cages on there.
  18. First quad I OWNED was a LT250 aka Quadracer, rode it for about a year before the motor went south. At the time I knew nothing about 2 strokes, and had my hands full w/ Stock Cars, so it sat....and rotted.... At the end of my 4th full season in stock cars we decided to give em up for a while, so its time to fix the SlowZuki. I got it fixed, while in the process of a rebuild my homie went out and bought a brand new Shee, man I was jealous. After the break in, he let me ride it.....DONE DEAL! I had to have one...Few days later we lined up for a drag race, needless to say I got smoked- right then and there I made a promise- I would own a Banshee within 6mo and not only will I have one, I would be SMOKIN HIM! Less than a month later I found my basket case....had a buddy help me rebuild it. 2 months after makin the promise, he lost his first race on his 01 Been all down hill since then......
  19. Damn, dood gat a real ass whippin!!! Thats too funny....and the cops- LMAO kept on goin. The small town cops round here stop if they see someone crossin the road, much less fightin on the sidewalk.
  20. HOLY CRAP! Thats one fast ass 1 ton for sure! I need a truck like that for a work truck
  21. Depends on mods, and elevation.... I think stock compression is around 125lbs or so. Anyone back this up, or correct me if I am wrong
  22. Some say they help w/ the low-end problem clamp ons create... I use them on my drag bike, mainly to help correct the air flow turbulence that clamp ons create.
