  1. T5's that I CermaChromed. If I could have found the right steel wool, they would have had much more shine to them. I did them almost 3 yrs ago, they still look like the day I did them. I sold the whole bike to a buddy of mine....
  2. Still lookin, maybe interested in others. Show me what u got!!
  3. Post a pic of what the plastics u got, i might be interested in part of them....
  4. Would be close, I had the same set-up and had to run race gas, at close to sea level. Talk w/ David (dlnoss) he can shed a little more light on the subject for you.
  5. I dont own a RDZ ported motor, but have seen a few of the drag ported set-up's run. They all seem to run real well, and dont seem to have many problems. If you dont get many replies try goin to Planet Sand and askin the same question, you will get tons of responses.
  6. Im not sure what the straight cut gears are, I think Banshee370 can explain... As for the ovveride, does one main thing. It allows clutchless shifting at WOT. When drag racing it will do two things: 1. Usually makes your ET's lower do to the split second lost when the clutch is pulled 2: Also makes the bike much more consistant because it shifts at the same speed most of the time ( the fingers cant always pull the clutch at the same speed).
  7. Werd! That was me Boonman,.... I am lookin into the programmable ones, so I can change my timing curve to get me down the track a bit faster. They also offer them w/ a two step (stutter) for drag racing. I havent decided between the Dyna ignition or the MSD. I hear that 350's benifit more from the Dyna since it uses stock flywheel- it gives more rotating mass. Where are MSD's use a small button flywheel- but im so light I think I could get by w/ either one
  8. The only way I suggest it to anyone is if they drag only. Pro's- first the obvious, clutchless shifting, much more consistant, will also help get your bike down the track quicker- i hear ranges from1 tenth to 2.5 tenths depending on the rider. Con's- W/ the mod trail ridin is out of the question, if u grab the clutch in the middle of a run you are more than likely gonna bent a shift fork. Those are the only 2 con's I can think of. I put a 2-5 in my 350 and picked up 2 tenths, it took a few try's to get the gearing combo right to get that, but IMO was WELL WORTH IT! Remember when shoppin for an ovveride, cheap is not always the best way to go. I have ridden the "cheaper" overrides, and they feel to notchy. Most ppl can hear when I shift my bike because its so smooth- alot of ppl only know I do because of the puff of smoke that my pipes let out.
  9. im interested in... throttle assembly, the front and lower motor mounts, PVL, and front wheels and tires. Show us some pics, and prices?
  10. If you dont sell, and decide to part it out.....I might be interested in the plastics
  11. Both are made for the Banshee- made for 350cc's , and I believe some ppl use them on Big Bore motors. The 410's make more top end, 510's make more torque. I have a set of 410's w/ silencers and CPI end caps for sale. PM me or holla on AIM for info.
  12. I used my redneck techniques to do mine......... Found a 1/2 inch (I think) Snap- On deep socket and set it on the flat part of the plastics, before it curved up. Then put a black sharpie on top of it- ran it the length of the fenders, and went to hackin. To cut it I used a pnuematic (sp?) sawz-all type deal from snap on- and slowly cut them. Once I got the intial cut (started from the back worked foward) I used a hacksaw to trim here and there to make them even. Once I was done, I ran a razor blade along them untill smooth. All in all took me about 30 minutes.
  13. That is just fukkin sweet! I want one for a pit bike
  14. AGGGGGGGGGGGH I always feel save when Holyman is on the look out for scammers!!! DTM, not sayin your scammin....
  15. That will do the job, just like a billet one, but for half the price!
  16. IMO the increase in performance, ability to change domes (changing compression), cooling benefits, and the looks- is well worth the price of an aftermarket head. STOCK heads cant do all that! IF you decide to go aftermarket, I would suggest David at www.nossmachine.com , his heads, prices, and customer service are top notch!
  17. I run the Honda Red...or what ever it is really called. I change every 6-8 races (give or take) it holds up well to the abuse dished out by an override tranny.
  18. The Vito's pistons are made by Wiseco, to Vito's specs. Wiseco makes by far the best piston IMO. Namura, i know nothin about really, only heard of them a few times. In a stock motor w/ no port work, I suggest the SS pistons- the make great all around power by foolin the engine into acting like its ported- someone correct me if I am wrong. I had them in my 96 when I purchased it and was keepin up w/ some ported bikes, mainly dune port bikes and MX- the power was awesome! The power was usable all around, and the quality was top notch. IF u dont plan on porting- the SS pistons are what you are lookin for for some extra power
  19. Want a set-up like this- the red is a different shade then what I have, so have to start over. Willin to trade what I have also What I have...
  20. Since the post didnt make it thru the upgrade- lets re-post em...
  21. Glad u guys brought this up- was thinkin bout buying the pipes he has.............thinkin no more!
  22. Here's a pic of my 87 when I still had her......man I miss her so!
  23. 340's are way too big at 1000 ft. Im at 1000 the most I ever used was a 320 w/ clamp ons. If you still have your lid on try a 290-300, start w/ the stock pilots and do an idle test ( new plugs idle for 15 minutes- w/ no throttle blips, kill it, read plugs ) and adjust accordingly (sp?)
  24. Topic says it- looking for a cheap straight one
