  1. You are proadly running 18 or 19 cc.Theres nothing wrong wiyh running that high compression Youll just have to ru 110 octane or higher.I would not even crank it up with 93 in it.
  2. Mix the jb weld thick [more hardner] put aluminum foil behind the hole put the jb in put foil behind the the jb and wait.Repete untill satisfied.
  3. What is your compression? At 5000ft I would say you would be allright with 93 but you should defeitly be fine with 50/50 in my opinion.Im running 18cc at 900ft at 180pounds stock timing and I run straight 111 but i have ran motox bikes at around 170to175psi on 50/50 without problems.
  4. Thats a lot of oil change the plug also its got to be fouled.
  5. Im running trinitys pipes with stock box and filter with the snorkel removed at abot the same elavation and temp wiyh a 280 and its perfect.27.5 pilot 4th slot on needle 1.5 out on air screw you could start from there and work ur way down
  6. Run it wide open for a ways then cut it off with out lugging it pull the plugs if they are tan to light brown ur allright if its light tan to white ur lean if its dark brown to black ur rich.
  7. 927 is good shit.Ive run it for years in motox bikes and now in my banshee.
  8. I dont know about the others most of them are serious drag pipes from what i hear except mabe the lrd some like em some dont.I just put a set of trinity stage lvs on my bike and they made good power thourgh out. I went up 1 size on the front[15] and still have good bottom great mid to high. They are kinda high but the stainless steel is very nice.I feel they are not a full drag more of a allaround mid to top pipe. The others you mentioned from what i hear are more full top end pipes not to say they are not great pipes just depends more on what you plan on doing with them. The trinitys are really smooth and do pretty good anywhere.
  9. The flywheel is supposed to come off.
  10. Ill give u my stock pipes for the cylinders.
  11. I just put my trinitys on and im impressed didnt have any other aftermarkets to compare them to but they pull hard over the whole range and seems like they never quit. The power is also very smooth.
  12. I think between 5th and 6th is the biggest jump i the gear box.Usally from my experince with boyseen reeds they alone usally richen it up.Sounds to me like youve got it to rich as posted earlier i woul drop back to a 280 and cheak the plug.
  13. You can get the orings at about any hydrolics store. I get mine down at a place called id&e and paid 3 dollars for all of them and they are exactly the same.
  14. I am really seeing a diffreance in the power with the pipe and head.I just cheaked my compression a little while ago and its actully around 182 or so. Im running straight 111 and it runs fine no pings or anything.I was thinking about tring a set of 19cc domes to pick the top up a little.Do yall think it would be enough diff. to be worth the money.Im just getting started when I do a rebuild im going to port probably a pro mx port or somthing like that and get gthe crank trued and welded or maybe go to a 4mil stroker. If i go with the stroker will I have to modify the cases or will the 4mil go with the stock? But as far as the pipes go im pleased with there performance and the fit and finsh is the best ive ever seen.Theres a guy that wants to race me on a piped 450r do yall think he can hang? We"ll see.
  15. Ok I just put my trinity stage1v pipes onand rejetted but the biggest mains they sent me were 280s luckly my k&n pods didnt get here today so i just took the snorkel off my stock airbox and used the 280s.Runs great lots of power everywhere but even with my box still on its a little on the lean side.So when i put my pods on what size mains do yall think i should start with I have stock porting only mods are noss head 18cc domes@175psi and pipes.Im running 27.5 pilot with the air screw 1.5 out.Im about 900 to 1000 feet above sea.Oh yea neddle in the 4th slot.
  16. No it wont hurt i run about 175psi and run straight 111octane.I paid 275 for the 55gal drum the other day just went up it was 250.
  17. Just put the head on because it got here first. They will be trinity pipes and k&n pods.
  18. I went with the noss head. seems to be running a little cooler. But it runs good just a little less on top but i think that can be expected with that kin of boost in com.Im going to rejet friday with new pipes and filters im hopeing that will pick the top back up.
  19. Ok I changed my compression yesterday to 170lbs this is the only modification everyting else is stock including the filter airbox and pipes. My question is how could this change my jetting,I know alot of you are going to say compression has nothing to do with jetting and I would normaly agree, but this morning I pulled my plugs and they have went from dark brown to medium to dark tan.Can somebody explain this to me.I also went to 111 race gas and same as always running 32:1 maxima 927.I dont understand how any of the changes could effect my jetting. What do yaul think.
  20. Well I put my noss on today.I checked my compression Im at about 173 on both with 18cc domes.Im running 111 race gas.I noticed a big gain on bottom with instant throtal response but lost a little bit on top.Everything else is completely stock now but will be putting on a set of trinity stagev1 pipes and dual k&ns on before the end of the week. I hope this will give my top new life we"ll see.
  21. Get ur ass up and move i live in ga and go to myrtle often if ur 18 that is where u want to be. Lots of shit to do lots of girls that often go home after vacation so you dont worry about them getting crazy .Anyway i would move there as a matter of fact i couldnt think of a better place to be.
  22. I dont claim to be a banshee expert in any way. But i have built many motorx engines and I would think that would give you around 200lbs which i think would be overkill.I am going with 18cc domes on my stock crank at around the same elavation and I think thats a little ify.I like to run around 175lbs on 106 or better fuel I used to pratice on my bike with that compression and run 110/93mix and never had i prob.In my opion if you drop to 150 or155 you will see a considerible diff in power low to mid mostly but this is in the neiborhood of where your limits are on 93.But I would atleast go to a 18 or 19 and run atleast a mix on ur gas.The higher your compression the more stress on your crank in any engine wether it be ur banshee ur honda or ur cr.
  23. I am just starting to mod my 04.I have trinity stage 4 pipes k&n pods a noss head and a timing plate.Ive not installed anythingyet going to do it next week some of the parts havent arriced yet.My question is will my stock crank hold up to the compression 18cc domes will give me.Im at 1000 feet above. Everything in the motor is stock with low hours.I dont mind running race gas its readily avaible in my area.I was told buy trinity that i shound not have a prob but thought i would get everybodys opinion.I do plan on porting and crank truing and welding when i rebuild but really just getting broke in now so it could be awhile.
  24. What would be the correct jetting for the trintys with the clamp on 1000feet above sealevel? What about cpi?How will they copare to the others Ive heard they were good.
