  1. Hell ya man I agree with you also, I think the red and white 04's were just regular colors not L.E. because thats what color my YFZ was.
  2. I just got back from trading in my YFZ 450 on the last Banshee the dealer had its the one I really wanted its a 06 50th aniversary S.E. my favorite colors. im gonna post pics later on, man I love this bike.
  3. Today was my lucky day after all because I got one of the dealers last 06 S.E. 50th Aniversary Shee's , I traded in my YFZ and I love this bike.
  4. 2 words for you man, hell ya, its gonna look badass and I cant wait til you get it done so we can all see how it turns out.
  5. Oh its cool, thanks for the help and advice.
  6. Well today I got my money together and made a few calls because I was supposed to be getting a new Banshee within the next week or so, so I have this YFZ 450 I was gonna trade in and get a new banshee so I got on the phone and called all of the dealerships around where I live and to my dissapointment NONE of them have any Banshee's or can get ahold of any, so now im either gonna have to sell my 450 to buy a USED one or trade for a equal value Banshee because there is no way i'm keeping my 450 I want it gone. Damn i'm pissed.
  7. Ok I have this 2004 YFZ 450 white and red, its never been wrecked or abused its always been maintained it was bought new in August 04 and it was just broken in last year, it has the original tires on it, it has the following, HMF full pipe candy red, k&N pro flow intake, gytr jetted, gytr cdi, ac nerf bars, cam-mod, gytr frontbumper, asv clutch and brake lever, renthal bars, scott grips , billit shifter and brake pedal, boyesen quick shot, e- brake block off, k&k graphics and seat cover( not installed yet) prolly some more mods , it has less than 60 hrs and has been maintained on a routien schedule and has always been in side my garage and taken care of it looks new and practically is , i'm asking $5000 or trade for a banshee of equal value. 9. I have heard the reliable one over and over, but lately its that 4-strokes are cheaper to build and that banshees are really expensive to fix up, as a YFZ owner and soon to be banshee owner, i'm trading off my 450 to get a new banshee, my friends are telling me all of these but my mind is set on a shee.
  10. Though I dont have a Banshee YET, Alot of my friends do and they either run T-5's or FMF fattys they are very close in performance but, the T-5's seem to pull harder on the top end and when you first really get into the powerband the T-5's seem to hit harder, but my friend who has FMF's says he loves them and wouldnt trade them for anything, its all about preference, and STAY AWAY from the 2-into-1 pipe!!!!! I say this because ya they hit hard off the bottom and pull through the midrange but there is no top-end, they sound bad ass though, but they are good woods pipes and moto-x pipes.
  11. Man I voted red, but I also like the blue, I personally think if your gonna keep it red you should have it redone to a darker more metallic an traslucent red, or if your gonna do blue it should be translucent with some metal flake. Either of those would look good with those 06 plastics.
  12. Well I have had a few quads myself 1.2002 Yamaha Big Bear 400, was my step dads he gave it to me until I wanted something faster he got it back, 2. I got a brand new 2003 Yamaha Blaster when they came out and modded it and when I out grew it I sold it 3. And bought a brand new 2004 YFZ 450 and have turned it into a MX/play bike its got alot of work and money into it, Thinking about selling it now to get a 2006 Banshee, 4. The Big Bear got sold 3 months ago and my step dad bought a 2007 Kawasaki Prarie 360 4X4 . Those are the quads I have owned or partially owned and or currently owned. I want to get a 2006 Banshee and sell my YFZ because I am not racing it.
  13. My college team is the OU Sooners, and my pro team eventhough I mainly watch college football is the Dallas Cowboys.
  14. DIRTWHEELS, BansheeHQ, YFZ Central. They all give me the info that I need to know.
  15. I'm on there too, it's www.myspace.com/tha_yfz_rider71
  16. Hey man whats up, thats a nice bike, very clean and thats my favorite color choice.
  17. When did Yamaha come out with that? I only thought there was the white and black flames with blue frame, But this one is bad ass.
  18. There is the 05 silver and purpleish-blue lightning, listed above, and there is the 06 black with purple ghost flameslisted above , and there is the 50th Anniversary, the silver and white is NOT an SE model its a regular color.
  19. Though I dont own a Banshee yet, I do own a YFZ 450 that Im gonna have ported and to be honest, Im all for doing it yourself because though you have to spend alot of money you still save a lil bit, But I would rather have a pro do it because thats all they do and if they mess up its on them, and some people can do it good themselves others like me like to send them to a pro, its all about preference, but I would reccomend having a pro do it over the do it yourself way on this.
  20. Man thats cheap, because I think for a YFZ its like 1700 to 2000, thats cheap because the shocks alone go for like 1600, BTW thats a nice Banshee you have.
  21. Hey man from what you described to me You have an 01 Banshee, because the 01's are just black and white where as the 02's are black white and have silver accents on the plastic and also have a silver radiator shroud , and the 02's through 06 have a silver accent on the seat. I hope this helps man.
  22. I'm from Oklahoma, in Okmulgee.
  23. Man thats a funny one, I would have done the same thing if he hit me too, lol, he had it coming though.
  24. The special edition raptor has, high-low speed compression adj, like the special edition yfz and the gytr raptor, the regular yfz has the regular yfz shocks & the Bill Ballance has plain shocks in the front but high-low speed adj in the rear. The regular raptor has plain raptor shocks. I would have to say that the shocks would fit a banshee because they mount up the same.
