  1. Well my best friend had his shee dyno tuned an he payed like $120 for the tuning an dyno time, his shee dynoed 55HP with just mild port ,FMF pipes, +4 timing and cool-head 20cc domes and K&N filter , V-Force2 reeds and a new top-end, Lonnie at Sandtrax did the bike.
  2. A Tecate is no more than Kawasaki's version of the 250R by Honda an the quadracer by Suzuki, A Kawasaki frame with a KX 250 motor in it, I have never seen one in real life an have never seen one run before, they were only made for like 3 years I believe and are very rare and hard to find. From what I have heard they are quick but not quick enough to beat those bikes listed.
  3. I use Yama-Lube 2R at 32:1 an i like it alot, I have always used it since I bought the quad new, its a good oil, I used to run it back when I had an 03 Blaster.
  4. Ya I have heard mod-quad cool heads are junk, if your looking into buying a cool head buy either a Pro Design or a Noss head those are probably the 2 best ones on the market.
  5. Well, with all of those badass bikes "theshee" has turned out I would love to see him get one like mine an 06 S.E. black an yellow an whip it into one badass bike , I also was one of the lucky ones to buy a new 06, I traded in my modded out YFZ-450 an they gave me $4500 which wasnt bad because I was selling it for $5000 at the time an got the shee $5000 OTD last february , they ended up selling my 450 for $4800 so I payed it off the day I bought mine.
  6. Hey welcone to the HQ man, BTW thats a really clean and nice banshee the colors remind me of the 08 Yamaha YFZ 450 an Raptor S.E. colors.
  7. Ive owned both bikes, I had a modded out YFZ-450 and it was but after awhile it was boring an didnt seem fast anymore so I traded it in on a new banshee, 450 is better if your gonna race just because it handles better an has better suspension, I say for everyday riding an wanting to be fast get a banshee.
  8. Hell ya last year I traded my mx modded YFZ 450 in on a brand new 06 Banshee S.E. an im so glad I did it too, you wont regret getting one, like Washburn said if you buy a used one get one thats good for the money an suited to the way you like to ride, if you wana buy a new one it will be hard to find because 06 was the last year they produced one in the U.S., there are a few dealers who still have some leftover 06's but new ones are gettin hard to find.
  9. Hell ya man last year when that vid was posted up, I liked it so much I put it on my myspace profile, lol, hey Loco that place they were riding at was a place in Jackson New Jersey, that video right there is just badass .
  10. Smash Lab? is that the show you were talkin about ? where they destroy things for a purpose, kinda like mythbusters but more science an for a purpose.
  11. Thats why there is only ONE ledgendary TWIN CYLINDER 2-STROKE, The BANSHEE, even if you could get that to work it would be the worlds fastest vibrator, I have heard rumors about how bad the CR500 motor vibrates imagine 2 running at the same time, an ya they would have to make a one off crank an everything, 210hp I dont believe it unless I personally see it run.
  12. Don't forget MJ that dg stands for Dollar General, lol, dg pipes suck horribly, they are cheaply made and just plain suck when compared to other companies. And yes I have heard a set on a shee before when I was younger, it sounds alot like a dirtbike, like a YZ 250.
  13. Ya I saw this on ebay this past Sunday when he first listed it and when I saw the word cam & electric start im like WTF, the words cam and electric start dont go with the word Banshee, that dude who listed it is a dumbass. Its a 2-stroke, they dont have cams, and its a Banshee it NEVER had electric start or cams, people these days.lol
  14. Im 18 and I live in Okmulgee Oklahoma, ya Go OU,
  15. Check out Cascade www.cascadeinnovations.com, they sell the rebuild kits and also have a chrome one that has already been rebuilt that they sell too.
  16. I personally run Bel-Ray Gear Saver it works fine for me and its specifically made for 2-strokes and it handles the constant clutching and shifting needs of a 2-stroke, you really dont have to change it that often either.
  17. I run Bel-Ray gear saver for tranny fluid it works good, you dont have to change it as often as you would with yamaha 4-stroke oil in there, that an gear saver is made for 2-strokes an it says that on the bottle, its supposed to stand up to all of the clutching and shifting needed when riding a 2-stroke.
  18. Ya my YFZ-450 was modded out an it was fast but to an extent if your not racing it there comes a time where it is just boring an not fun to ride it, thats why I traded mine in on my Banshee, because it is just alot more fun to ride an with mods its really fast. If I were racing MX or flattrack/TT I would have a YFZ-450 but since im not racing im glad I have my Banshee oh ya 450R's are slow compared to YFZ's and yes I can honestly say that because I have proven my point to my self many times by showing up my friends 450R when he still had it.
  19. I'll have to say Cascade Innovation because they have everything that you need for show and go an have reasonable prices, thats where I plan on buying all of my mods.
  20. Ok everyone for the record, 450'S are fast with the right set up an alot of $$$$$$$ I had a heavily modded YFZ an ya I out ran a few Banshee's but I had alot of money in my bike an the Shees I ran only had like pipes an filter, I knew better than to run against a heavily modded shee cuz when im revved out in 5th wishing for another gear the shee would be revved out in 6th like 3 lengths ahead, I dont at all miss the 450 and when I traded in the 450 on a new stock Banshee even though my bike is stock it still impresses me for a stock bike, it didnt have an trouble hangin with my friends modded shee I may not have out ran him but I only was out ran by like 3 lenghts. but ya rider weight , expirence , and bike set up, place your racing are all very important factors.
  21. Ya guys I live 45 mins south of Tulsa an the weather is absolutely horrible we got a little freezing rain but not near as much as Tulsa or OKC , yesterday the news said my area had like 5100 people out of power I got lucky an we never lost power, an to make it worse were gonna get more snow and ice this weekend, they said this is one of the most expensive natural disasters in Oklahoma history, the weather around here is cold and rainy an it sucks cuz since hunting season ended Dec 2nd for me I have been wanting to go riding an build my Banshee up. The tree trimmer an line-men have been working 16 hour days , just to give you guys an idea how bad it is around here.
  22. Damn I hate thieves because they are too lazy to work so they steal from people who do work hard for what they have, I would kick that dudes ass then turn him into the cops, you really shoud have the cops interrogate him because if he knows you know he did it he will be in a rush to ditch the evidence, AKA your Shee, I hope you get your quad back an get justice.
  23. Hot Seat Performance has alot of parts for it, you could make it pretty quick.
  24. Well really in all honesty if your gonna race the YFZ is better an if your just gonna be all around riding its a good bike, I recently sold my YFZ this past February to buy the new Banshee I have now. Mine had a pipe , cam, K&N, Digital CDI box, little stuff done to the carb, it was fast but to me it got really boring riding it after a while and it got to where it wasnt fun to ride it, basicaly its not a Banshee, ya the YFZ handles alot better but you have to put alot of money into the motor an in mods to get any performance out of it, an if its performance you looking for just keep the Banshee. You get way more performance for your money with the Banshee. I had an HMF on my YFZ , it was pretty badass for a 450, but I dont miss it an im glad I have a Banshee now.
  25. I have ran nothing but 93 octane an Yamalube 2R @ 32:1 since the day I bought the quad.
