The plastics were definitly swapped out for others, and those pipes look like FMF fatty's with power core 2 silencers. I have rode a shee with fattys and they are good all around pipes and they sound alright too.

I own a fully modded 04 YFZ 450 bought it new and started modding , I am getting a Banshee soon then i'll have the best of both worlds.

I never did get it either because they are alowed to sell 2-stroke dirt bikes and the hippies never said anything about it, but the second a banshee or 250R gets fired up they whine and cry about it, I think its stupid, If a YZ 250 leaves the lot not a word is said . I dont think it emissions at all I think its like Hell Driver said Yamaha is too lazy to update the Banshee, but then again they never really needed to because there was never a quad that could hang with it .

Me personally I think something real flashy & bright and "Cali Style" would be alot better like the bikes on www.cascadeinnovation.com. BUD LIGHT graphics are okay but not as out standing as "Cali Style". Something with alot of candy and metal flake & Like 2Stroker4Ever said flames and tribals and I would also second the paint peeling back to reveal something like diamond plate.

If I could go get an 06 Banshee it would have to be a limited edition 50TH anniversary, or a white and silver sice white is easy to keep clean and it wont stress mark. The 50TH anniversary is my dream bike I wish I could go and get one. Good luck with the choice and most important get what YOU really like.

I use Simple Green also and it works better than anything else i've used. Not sure about the hondabrite though.

Id say take the YFZ because it is also a good dune bike too and it handles like a dream and its suspension is real good too. I own a YFZ and If I were you Id take the YFZ even though I want to and plan on getting a Banshee.

Man its been hot for the past couple of days, first it rained every nite for 3 nites strait so it made it humid on top of being hot but in the evenings about 7 or 8 I would take the YFZ around my mx track. And then it got hot yesterday and today about 101 or 102 and its sooo humid too. So I washed my 450 today to try and beat the heat but it didnt work. And this week it is supposed to be the same way all week and since I am working for money so I can buy a banshee so far $1000 or so dollars got the 450 for mx and I like it I just want a banshee now so to keep both I have to work to buy one since the other is modded and paid for. Its so hot here in oklahoma good thing my airconditioner is set on 70.

Well, go to www.cascadeinnovation.com and you could buy the spring and ball bearing kit for less than $50 or buy a new fully polished chrome kickstarter withe ball bearing and spring installed all you have to do is bolt on the kickstarter and go its like $110 or $115 or a little more.

DIRTWHEELS all the way man. I have been a subscriber since 2001 and have every issue from DECEMBER 01 til the newest one AUGUST 06. I have read sand sport and they seem to focus more on rails and buggies more than quads. Also 4-WHEEL ATV ACTION is good.

Nice bike btw not too bad at all for a 2000. how much is it worth well the lowest it could go is about 2300, the most prolly would be about 3200. Those are just guessing give or take a couple hundred. Its one of the nicer used 2000 models ive seen I wish I owned it because I dont have a banshee yet.

Yea I got my DIRTWHEELS in 3 days ago and in the letters I saw it. I think its cool Banshee HQ gets some recognition in the mags. Also they featured a Trinity racing dune Banshee.

My YFZ 450 set up is an HMF full sport system cam-mod (with the YZ-450-F cam installed) GYTR ,CDI K&N pro flow, jet kit, zip ty fuel screw, maby theres something I'm missing but other than the stuff needed for racing like My AC nerfs GYTR bumper, RENTHAL bars and grips Billet brake and shifter, ITP holeshot mxs on the way same as K&K graphics and soon I'am cutting the fenders and a kill switch. and port & polish 13:1 high comp piston and hinson clutch kit and in the future ELKAS , LEAGER A-arms and swing arm lonestar axel and other than the stuff I hav and the stuff I plan on doing thats all. I am getting a Banshee soon though. YES DO THE CAM-MOD ALOT MORE TOP-END.

My freind who has raced and owns and currently races a 250R Which I have rode it before and its wicked fast he told me ESR TRX 11 or Curtis Sparks MX/TT pipe is the best pipes to run on a 250R.

Yea I got my DIRTWHEELS 3 or 4 days ago and the Banshee I saw had baja lights and drag pipes but it sorta looked like it but It wasnt even close to the other pics I have seen of his bike, the only thing close was the plastic and frame.

How much do you want for that Kicker Amp?

I have heard of that before, I think it was on tv or maby someone told me about it where ever I heard it from I know it works.

I own a modded YFZ, and the predator is slower than the 660 raptor by 1 MPH. 660 raptors are slow i have rode my freinds modded trx 450 R and its slow yet torquey The only four stroke to me as a YFZ owner and soon to be banshee owner that is worth having, modding ,racing and all around riding I say get a YFZ , to me its the only 4-stroke that can even come close to modded banshee. BTW the 700 raptors are smoother but yet more peppier then the previous 660 models but are only 2 MPH faster than the 660 r's. The 700R is every bit better than the 660's but it will lose to a YFZ and a Banshee just about every time but its real close this is stock for stock put pipes on the bikes and the real battle is between the banshee and the yfz. I agree lets not start an argument and lets just enjoy our quads.
