Well i know here on the west coast Nic Grunland runs it. He collects the racers. Sets up the plots and such. I can tell ya this, If you decide to thow it, and try and win it ait guna happen agenst him, the dude is FAST. They probably got the same thing over there. Some decently named pro running the sho, Its more about entertainment than racing. About one of the most fun races there is.

Any chance of getting just silencers?

If you like the 927 but are worried about the separation at low temps when its cold go to the Maxima K2.

Im trying to get any sort of backing for what your telling me, and you have none. This leads me to believe you have no clue how to setup your bike. You have to remember your running on a large track, Im running on small tracks, getting hooked up through the turns is alot harder for me. All you have to do is gas and go. but hell what do i know im "some kid fighting with his bike around a tt track." Im curious what your definition of kid is and how am i fighting it? looks like im dam good running against a real pro racer. The guy that got that holeshot is (http://www.polarisrathteam.com/index.php?id=16) not too shaby to be loosing to a factory racer.

Doesn't sound like you really have any idea. Your just saying the opposite of what i told you. The softer the shocks the more weight transfer you get to the rear. So what your saying doesn't make scene. Heres a video from last night. Changed tires for the rear, and was pushing real bad.

Did you see what i said, thanks for the criticism, Trust me i need all the help i can get to run with these guys. I am more than happy to try what your telling me to do. Thats why im asking, Rear preload? is that what you think is too soft??

I was very happy with the power of my motor, Thats my first race without my Duncan engine. This is an engine i built. Its fast as shit, but boy is it tiering to ride. Much less int he mid and bottom but screams on top. Im also running quite rich, Look at all the blue smoke pouring out the pipes when im on the gas thats what i get for running a motor i havent properly tuned yet. The guy that got the holeshot and won is a Factory Polaris racer (http://www.polarisrathteam.com/index.php?id=16) He should beat me. http://broesel.smugmug.com/gallery/7747614...500946139_ctDZV There are the pictures from the whole event.

Thanks for the criticism, Although i dont think that was the problem. The second one was strictly me getting hit and spun out. Now the first one i went in too hot and low. That turn, with the transition off the normal circle track, was dry slick bad. So you think i need to stiffen up the preload of my rear shock? http://broesel.smugmug.com/gallery/7747614...7899_VixLN-A-LB

What about for just the front half?? -
Well guys i wasnt asking for help, Just trying to get a pro/con thing for people that might be looking into upgradeing there ignition system. Im probably going to run the pvl for a while then i might try a MSD, or something like that.

So what do you guys like better? PVL, Lighter flywheel, Separate systems for each cyl makes finding problems easy can get ANY advancement you could possibly want. Tons of spark (and shocked the shit outa me when i touched it. Downfall is must run 2 deadman switches, not capable of lights. DYNA, You can change the advancment of spark as rpms change, to work perfectly with porting. Plug in and go. Other riders get scared when you start fliping switches. Still able to run lights. Down fall, Still running heavy flywheel, and large wire harness. Programing with the laptop can get tricky to find the right combo. Kinda looking for other oppinions from other riders that have ran both systems. I like things about both and am currently running a PVL. Right now im very happy with it. Not that i havent been satisfied with the dyna.

Zero preload is the system of setting up a top spring that is very weak jsut to keep some tension on the shock. as soon as any weight gets on the spring it compresses it basicaly lowering where the bike sits but gives you a normal spring after that.

Im amazed at how much you guys have spend. I bought my banshee for $2500 Its stock boreXstroke, with a Duncan National kit. With Pep Tripple rate shocks up front. I had an old 250r dog bone laying around so i took that and hacked it up to fit my banshee to lower the rear. Dropped the front 2 inches with the shocks. and ran A LONG time with stock a-arms shocks, (just flipped rims on the front and wide offset rims on the rear) and no sway bar. Racing every weekend i started to realize my enigne in the straights was more than enough. It was the middle of the turns that was killing me. In the beginner class that was no problem. after a few months i bought a sway bar off of ebay for $60 This makde things much more consistent in the turns not necessarily any faster just easier and consistent. about another 6 moths pass i pick up a -2 swinger off of ebay for $70. 2 months after that ebay a-arms for $150, Then i got a extended axle from a friend that was converting to a drag bike. Now running in the pro class i have swapped around with pipes, carbs, cylinders But when it comes down to it that old duncan motor kicks them 450's asses no problem. Just find out what your track requires to race, Go there and try it out. If you like it you can keep putting money into it. For 3 years straight i race every weekend just about. $45 to enter $25 in fuel for the bike, and i have 5 tracks within an hour of my house so driving wasn't a big deal. For me it was very cheap i guess.

I got one for sale, But i think its a bit too far, $900
-
I got a set of VF2's one side needs reeds other side is good. (one side backfired and blew them back inside twards the carb).
-
I belive you have that backwards, As the plain rises, they lean out there mixture, Thus the lean setting, being at altitude, and the rich setting at sea level. Just like jetting your bike. You go high up in the mountains and they richen up.

Now isnt Av gas 130 octane??? Even tho its CALLED 100ll, its actualy 130. http://www.aviationfuel.org/avgas/avgas_specs.asp Look there, Under rich conditions 130 octane, Now isnt that pushing the octane level of alky? I have always had to go to massive jets to get my bikes cooled down properly on av. About half of what i have to go to on alky. I also dont get pinging on the 240psi 250r engine on av gas.
-
I got a set of cylinders given to me from my banshee as spares. The bottom of the sleve is broke off on one cylinder. i was wondering if anyone has tryed to press in and out one. I think i could do it. Also wondering if somone has a sleve or set laying around. Dont want to kick down with the $ if the porting sucks.

Soften up your suspension, this will get you some weight transfer and will help ALOT on the starts. Let the swaybar do its job.
-
unless the track is perfectly flat i would never run rigid, EVEN if it was you loose alot of weight transfer. I would rather run a stock suspension setup before i would run struts.
