  1. Well i don't think they make them big enough for a cub, BUT i could be wrong. So that shouldnt be a problem toasting an EXPENSIVE cyl. I did have a problem with one but it was 100% my fault, I set the ring gap too close.
  2. Japan isnt the US, so it must not be good Open your door, Made in MEXICO BABY on that ford. yet again, not the USA, I agree most products that come out of Taiwan or China are usually crap. I bet you would be suprized where alot of the products you use on your bike acutaly come from. All i can say is dont take my word for them try them yourself.
  3. Wow because of you im retarded because i like a product. You know absolutely nothing about me but because i like them im retarded?? I don't know if you haven't notice that bike you ride isn't made in the USA, That car/truck you drive probably isnt made in the usa. The computer your using isn't made in the USA BUT theses pistons must suck because they are not made in the US. Ill be honest, I use the pistons. I absolutely love them, When i first got them i was skeptic, thought about not putting them in my bike, but i figured why not. i didn't have any problems with the Wisecos but in all honesty these pistons do feel a bit faster. Maybe fresh bore, new pistons it feels faster. Id only had the Wiseco's in the bike for a year, they wernt that worn out. I dont use all there products, IMO the wrist pin was too heavy, So i stuck with the Wiseco, The base gaskets are too thick for my porting, i have an 0-ring head so the gasket kit is useless for me. Just try them before you talk shit about them. Thank you dajogejr for being optimistic.
  4. Im Glad you all find humor in my statement. Truth is I could care less, I am extremely happy with the pistons, Ill be honest at first i was very skeptic. But now i will back them %100, I am running them in my dragbike and flattrack bike. Although they may not be the fastest bikes out there they defently run extremely well for what they are. Not to mention you can buy 2 and a half sets of these for the price of one set of wiesco's. EVEN IF (which they dont) wore out faster you could replace them twice as much and still be ahead.
  5. I did mine last weekend, Took a dremel and flattend the area around the holes (where the new holes would be i lowed the area around it so the bolts still sit the same depth) then drilled complete new holes right next to the old ones so the plate rotates clockwise (i think). (but take off the stator, i barely hit mine with the dremel and took it out. So i bought a pvl and put the plate with a new stator on another bike.
  6. One other thing, What is the operating temp suppose to be on the exhaust side of the cyl on alky. Im only getting to like 90*, on gas i run it at about 190*
  7. Just a quick question, On my shee with a PVL, it sputters real bad idling or on the line but as soon as there is a load on the engine it seems to run fine. Is this normal with alky?
  8. Aww i see the PSI in the stamp, Looks nothing like the other PSI stamps ive seen. Looks like ya got your answer
  9. I dont know but possibly the old J-arm style Paul Turner pipes before they changed to the current design. I have never seen them just hear about them every once and a while.
  10. My girl has a 07 z400 in good contidion. Our payments are only 120 a month and only owe $6,000. sound like a deal???
  11. I had it written down in the office in the shop. And there isnt a computer there. Sorry i didnt memorize the numbers for ya dumps .132" .116 main 65 pilot CGJ needle Its a stock cyl, stock bore&stroke midrage ported with 34pj's, and ptr highrev's previous jetting was 165 main and 58 pilot with the CGJ pilot.
  12. ill get back to you on that, but i was getting worried that i did something wrong i am also VERY rich, my 168 main, 65 pilot was what i ran on gas. tomarow ill figure out what i drilled the main and dumps to.
  13. What are you guys doing about your jets?? Im just about to the threads there so big, or do i just not worry about it.
  14. I feel that in flattrack the rear suspension is less important as it is on say a motorcross. I run stock linkage with a cut down 250r dogbone with stock shock. As long as your rear shock is good the stock lowered suspension seems to fair well. The front is much more important, a good set of shocks and swaybar are very important. then some wide a-arms.
  15. Ive been running a -2 on my banshee for a while now. I would say its much more important on a banshee than a 450. It makes it much easyer to get hooked up. -3 was a bit much
  16. I had the same problem today, It was my first time trying/using it. But when i first did it i kept having problems with my floats sticking and it filled my pipes with fuel. Im also running extremely rich.
  17. What do ya want for that stuff? I pratice 3 days a week thats about 30-40 laps, then race every weekend. That bike gets a TON of time on it. My friends with 450's ended up buying 2 strokes after riding with me after 3 months and they already had a $1200 rebuild. and BTW i fractured my wrist in the wreck other than that i am fine.
  18. I would like an actual picture of your seat but i will trade the whole seat so that way nobody has to recover.
  19. Race bikes dont always look pertty. BTW i need soem cheap front plastics, front shocks, and front bumper.
  20. Just the carb?? not the rest of the 2 into 1? i might have a set of 40 over pistons
  21. I already have all the motor mounts rubberized. I used the lower banshee mounts and cut them up to work. Ill get some pics. later
  22. Vibration to the rider isnt bad at all. I loved it, power was awesome and extremely useable. The bike hasnt liked the vibes soo bad now. Every 10 mintues i got a A-arm bolt vibrating loose even with lock tight. I didnt mind it but the bike took it perty dam hard.
  23. I have a cr500 engine that was in a quad, It just vibrates too much for my liking. Im willing to trade for an atc, trx or 250 enigne Or 250F dirtbike. Yours must have electrical with the engine, mine does so yours needs it too.
  24. Im actually looking for the manufactures of them. I want to contact them directly since im not using it for drag purposes.
