  1. Bump for ya, Mojaves are fun little bikes, I miss mine, would love to pick up another. Check it out: http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e130/JHupp06/cobraL.jpg
  2. Everey time I did it, I heated it with an oxy-acetaline torch, and then the bolts twisted out with no force at all. They do use a ton of red lock tight on them. I didn't know you could even get them out without using a torch, I tried turning them once without any heat and they wouldn't even budge, you must have stronger forearms then I do.
  3. Thanks for the replies, got her all together last night. I can just see this thing being a bitch to get apart when I'm out on the trail and I break something. I'm not a big fan of those C-Clips.
  4. You have the worst luck. Bump for ya!
  5. Ok, so I think I got this bad boy all together, but I was wondering 2 things. There is no specification on what to torque the nut to, I bought the wrenches that come with it, and all, I'm guessing it should be somewhere close to the stocker after you spin the inside nut back, but I was wondering what yall torque 'em to. Also, If I wanted to take the axle off the bike, how do you do that, with the c-clip installed on the sprocket side it looks like it would be a bitch and half to get it out from under the nut, and take the axle off the bike. As a;ways, thanks for the help,
  6. Philly is always a good time, if ya still got it and don't mind draggin' it out lemme know. That's a clean lookin' bike, and a great price, bump for ya!
  7. Bump for ya John, that's a clean lookin' bike! If ya chop it up lemme know what ya got on there, I'm still looking for aftermarket carb/carbs.
  8. Gonna be out in NJ anytime soon?
  9. Yes!! More Chicks!! Always a good thing!! Welcome, nice lookin' bike ya got!
  10. I'm with the above guys in putting a 4 storke engine in a 2 stroke bke, while it is a clean install, it would have looked much better in a Raptor or YFZ.
  11. Damn, I probably would have shit myself when I looked down and saw that. Nice one!!!
  12. Bump for ya, wish you were closer, I'd pick up that R real quick, sweet bike.
  13. Bump for ya, those tanks are awesome, you can ride the whole day without filling up. That purple is going to be a tough sell though.
  14. Can't seem to find them anywhere, I heard they aren't making the heel guards anywhere, just the pegs. If anyone has a set for sale, or knows a place that maybe has a set left, let me know, price doesn't matter too much as long as they aren't crazy high over list.
  15. Damn, I didn't see the pics before, but yeah, that hing is clean as hell, offer him 2k and go from there.
  16. Douche Bag! Might be time for a road trip.
  17. Nice job on the bumper, that's a hell of a lot better then I could do. Would be awesome for flat track or TT. Ohh and thank you for replacing the pipes!! The Tag bumpers are the best looking IMO, but I would never ever pay the $100+ they are going for, I paid like $30 for mine used and then had it PCed.
  18. Good deal! Bump for ya! Those pegs are awesome, I would really like to find the heel guards for sale somewhere.
  19. Sounds like a fair deal. If you keep your eyes open you should be able to do better, but it all depends on how long/hard you want to look, and how far you want to drive. Just to give you an idea, I paid 1150 for the 02 in my sig. It was a little different then, but was in awesome shape. With the certificate of original take a look at your DMV web site and see what you need to register the bike. Here in NJ all you need is a notarized hand signed receipt with the VIN #, price paid, seller, buyer, etc. I have one I made up if you want to PM me your e-mail I can send it to you. Mainly you want to have a somebody run the VIN to make sure its not stolen before you buy it, after that it usually isn't a big deal. Good luck, and keep us posted with some pics if you do pick it up!
  20. Damn, gve the man some time, it's barely been a day. I'm sure he works, and who knows what else aside from going on here all day. He is good for it, I've bought a ton of stuff off of him, awesome guy.
  21. I was thinking the same thing, I didn't want to burst anyone's bubble though. Rs are tough to come by, especially in decent shape, Warriors are a dime a dozen around here, I paid 1k for an 02 banshee, the Warriors get even less sometimes.
  22. Cool, thanks for the info guys! The motor is out, I've done dirtbikes before ike that, so that's how I'm gonna go.
  23. Yo, what's up? Havent seen you around in a while. PM me a price on the ASV levers if you could, I'll probably take those.
  24. Hell yeah, it would have been a deal and half! Did you happen to read through the whole thread?
  25. Bump for ya, wish I could find an R this clean in NJ.
