That's what I say too, I had a 94 yz 125 that I beat the shit out of, never checked the compression, but it still ran(never rebuilt) in 01 when I gave it away because it looked so bad. ATV engines in general don't ast as long as say a car, because even if you ride them respobsibly it's still a fuck of a lot more stress. Your always bringing the revs up and down, or running it wide open, nobody I know really putts along at say a steady 3k RPM. I think the myth comes from people not jetting right, you have a lot more leeway on a 4stroke as far a jetting goes, on a 2stroke your gonna have to be a lot closer.

Welcome bro! :beer: You don't have to re-jet for reeds, and they probably won't give you noticeable power, but they do make acceleration a little snappier(quicker). Just a forewarning, don;t ask any questions about boost bottles. :biggrin:

Gol damn, let me be the first to say, that sucks! Never seen anything like that before, and I've run on some hot days with low coolant. Defiantely a emss, but it is fixable, I never knew you could get comprehensive coverage for ATVs, I've only ever heard of liability.

Ok, cleanin out my garage, and I figured someone might be able to use some of this stuff. Brand new, never used MSR grip lever set, $25 from RM ATV, looking to get 15 shipped. I openend the package, but never used them, will only work for a banshee with stock perches. Yeah, the 9" lights are wayyyy too big, the PIAAs on the ones I posted are 6", I have regular 6" Hellas now, but I like the look of the Bajas a lot better.

Was wondering if anyone had pics of the Ricky Stator Banshee Baja Light Kit. Only found one on their site, and Google and Yahoo images didn't turn up a thing. I know omebody's gotta be runnin' them. Yes it will, bolts up perfect, just can't use those shitty stock brake cover plates. The dual pistons stop on a dime too, awesome price, I paid 100 for YFZ calipers alone, bump for ya!
