  1. I just got done talking to Jim at Passion. I'm prolly goin with him now cuz he is more well known and he was able to work with me on the price and walked me through what he was gonna do to the jugs and head, he definetily mentioned some stuff that I hadn't heard from anyone I have talked to so far, like squish velocity vs. compression on the stock head w/ uncut domes. Passion Racing it is. Thanks for you input guys.
  2. thanx for the replys guys. Hey locogato, not tryin be an asswipe or anything but maybe u have never heard of him cuz u live back east and he is on the west coast, and do any of those other builders u mentioned have websites cuz i'm really just shoppin around to get a feel for everyones prices right now and tryin to find a somewhat good deal  . I'm a strapped for cash teenager and am already gonna have the cases split due to the snapring and washer for the kickstart idler gear falling of and getting turned into filings so i gotta clean out all of the bearings and what not. I've only got about $500 to spend on EVERYTHING so i'm trying to find the best hp to money ratio. And $100 is already gone for the seals, gaskets, and the snapring washer and bushing for that gear. That leaves me like 4 bills, and my crank (wiseco w/ hotrods) needs a true&weld cuz it was never done, and i really want a dune port to get me in the mid to low 60's as far as hp goes. Any suggestions would be much apreciated. EDIT: I need to learn how to type. Oh and what about flotek, I think he goes by rocketboy on here, i would like to know if anyone has used him and if his stuff his good. thanx
  3. i always use wiseco, everyone i know always has too.
  4. I'm looking to get my port work done by him cuz of his good prices. Talked to him on the phone and sounds like he knows his shit. Just wanted to see if anyone had used him before. his site is www.herrjugsracing.com thanx
  5. get a 200 watt ricky stator (www.rickystator.com) and you'll be good to go. I think you have to run regulators before the lights though, i'm not sure. I would just figure out a way to put to 75 watt lights on the bars though instead of having four lights it'll be way simpler with just two. four lights would be a lot of wiring and such :shoothead:. EDIT: The stator is pretty much a remove and reinstall job, just make sure to get the right puller for the flywheel. If u use a jaw type puller it will break the flywheel.
  6. look up "Dromo One" in the phone book. They have a kick-ass go-kart track and racing carts that have detuned motors. Its pretty fun.
  7. defintetely need race fuel. I don't how high you should go on the octane but VP C12 (110 octane leaded) will prolly take care of ur problem.
  8. holy shit! rofl :yelrotflmao:
  9. What elevation r u at and what jets are curently in the carb, also give us a list of ur mods. EDIT: Is it a 33mm or a 35mm carb
  10. likes chuck norris
  11. I would stick with the toomeys as well, they're a great all-around pipe.
  12. Get t5's, the t6's were disigned for an all stock motor.
  13. Ya, what he said. If you overheat the bike the stock plastic one can melt. And if that doesn't happen it will just eventually turn into a nub. The billet impeller is what you should get for sure.
  14. i'm in. thanx red
  15. For the swing-arm you will need a longer chain and a +4 brakeline. +2+1 a-arms are to inches wider per side and move the front wheels one inch forward. You will need +2 brakelines if you get the a-arms as well as properly set-up aftermarket shocks.
  16. Get yourself some toomey t5's and the toomey hush kit. I was up in oregen this summer and my bike with that set-up was at like 89db's.
  17. how long is the drag-run. cuz traction may be your issue.
  18. Shipping will be $50 to the lower 48.
  19. I'll get that as soon as i can, hopefully tomorrow after school. Which set do you want?
  20. Gecko's are in great shape. They hold air to the best of my knowledge, never used 'em. They came with my shee and I got the SK 2's right away. They are 20x11x10 and are on douglas blue label wheels. Looking for $100+shipping Pics of the Gecko's: The Sand skates are in OK shape. A couple of the paddles on both tires have some small nicks in them. On the right (or left I can't remember which) side tire three paddles have achunk taken out of them. It is about an inch long and goes about halfway into the blade. The tires still hook up good and smy shee can still only make first gear starts with the sand skates with the mods in my sig. They are 20x11x10 on itp wheels. Make offer. Pics of the sand skate 2's: here is one of the three chunked paddles i mentioned above another pic I will hopefully know shipping charges by the tuesday of next week (10/17/06).
  21. DO NOT put your bike on jackstands. You want your alignment to be dialed in at ride hieght, not full droop. It might work for bigboybanshee cuz he has a drag frontend that prolly doesn't move, but if u (ass-u-meing u have "normal suspension") put your bike on jack stands and do the alignment you will have toe-out at ride hieght. edit:1/8" to a 1/4" of toe-in is fine
  22. I would definetely go with those if you are still iffy on the asr's "3". I t
