  1. thats prolly fine, as long as you wipethem off or blow them off with compressed air. but before every ride is WAY over doin it. A-arms look awesome bro.
  2. Do you ride in muddy or extremely wet conditions (large puddles etc). If you ride in dry, dusty, or sandy conditions your hiems will be fine. The "boot" that is sold for them prolly wouldn't do much anyway. The ones i've seen have a pretty loose fit over the hiem. EDIT: typos
  3. NO NO NO NO NO NO NO :wallbash: . You should NEVER lube hiems with ANYTHING. The lube will only attract dirt which will kill it. Hiems have a teflon lining so there is no need to lube them.
  4. if you have not had your crank trued and welded you should definitely drop that think back down to stock compression with some 22cc domes.
  5. Good thing the homework i gotta do is on the computer... cuz it wouldn't be gettin dun. lol
  6. The sucking sound from the intake is normal. Your motor is NOT getting too much air.
  7. Its an i-beam square body truck (1992). The mods I currently have on it are in my sig. Its my daily driver right now so i'm keepin it mostly stock. heres a pic. Me and my dad are gonna be workin on the bumper soon. I'm building a spare tire carrier right now. After that its gonna get 4.10's and a locker for the 8.8 then its fiberglass fenders. Hopefully this will al be don by the end of my senior year.
  8. Its only a ranger so the motor doesn't have to be huge. I did mean a full floater rear end though. Maybe slide the cab and motor back and move the front suspension forward a lil bit or move the rear axle back. But this won't happen for a while. I'm only 16, lol. And yes, a purpose built pre-runner would be ideal, if you have the 150-250g's to drop on one.
  9. Only 6g's for your truck. Shit mines at like 30 plus as far as the wish list goes...equal lenght i-beams and steering up front...kings all the way around...three-link rear...currie ford 9in...302 v8... C6 trans...caged front to rear...only leave the stock frame under the cab...full fiberglass body. I hope I can find a really good job when i'm done with school. An dmy shee is prolly right up there by 20g's too. Sundahl frame...little bit more motor...ect ect.
  10. The right side crank seal could be letting tranny oil into that right side cylinder. A leakdown test will prolly tell ya.
  11. Is what he means is whenever someone bring ups break-in, tranny oil, pre-mix, etc... A shit storm of a debate starts up.
  12. I'm in high school so my finals were two weeks. I didn't study all that much and still passed all of 'em well enuf to get A's and B's for my semester grades. And i have all honors classes. But ya, my Mom made me nervous. She threatened to take my shee and truck if I didn't get good grades.
  13. A 'busa motor would make it fast. Maybe with a turbo runnin like 6psi of boost. That would prolly be fun to ride on the street.
  14. Those too right there are prolly the biggest one. Everytime I tell someone thewy ride a banshee they proceed to tell me that those are only for drag racing. So I say, "allrigth lets go riding after school, meet ya at the top of ann rd." They show with thier YFZ450 that mommy&daddy bought and tricked for em and then they ask me how I just managed to blow by them in the whoops. I always respond with it's either you or banshee's are just for drasg racing.
  15. Hell yeah. That would be cool.
  16. Whatever they are valved for they will prolly be fine for all around riding. Just don't go flat-out thru the first whoop section you see. Get a feel for the suspension and go faster everytime until you reach the limit of your skills or it starts to bottom heavily and buck. As for sag figure out your total suspension travel by removing the springs from the shocks and stroking the suspension. And then set that sag at 25%-30% (this will you give you 70%-75% droop and 25%-30% compression travel when you ares on the bike traveling on smooth level ground) of your total travel with you sitting on the bike (make sure you put your springs back on ). Hope i didn't make you feel like a 6 year old by over explaining anything. EDIT: Very nice shee btw.
  17. I would not go with eyeball his customer service suck. I had him rework my rear shock and when I wnet to pick it up he wanted $75 more than he quoted me :shoothead: . When I went and rode it bottomed just as easily as when it was stock so I took back. I had to threaten to withdraw my C.C. payment before he would stand behind his poor work :: . I personally would never buy anything from him ever again.
  18. :yelrotflmao: lol, good one.
  19. Get haulers. It'll take you 5 minutes figure out how to turn like it has v-paddles.
  20. you scared for a second, I thought they were gonna be gone for good.
  21. ya, you get paypal credit. You can request a check for the balance of the credit though.
  22. I can't get the desktop to work but heres the pic I have on it...
  23. I guess i just don't get where you are hearing all of this bad feedback on them. If you read the dealers feedback on ebay (he goes by quadpartsguy) the only negative responses are for slow shipping or poor communication. Not one of 'em said the product was poor. And as far as strength goes, it can't be hard to make somethin stronger than the stock arms. I mean mine haven't broken and they lined up when I installed them, what more can you ask for? Oh, and if I sounded pissed off thats my bad, I didn't mean it to come across that way.
