They rebuild those bike after every race because the compression they run which is rumored to be well over 14:1, and all they do is replaced the ring and piston regardless of waer. all other internal parts are replaced as necassary. MC's tranny cost 25,000 cuz of the man hours that were put into it, there is no way that a dirtbike tranny could 25k in materials alone. I mean think about, he is worried about hiting the rev limiter, but if you pull in the cluch with the throttle at wot with the motor at redline ur gonna hit rev limiter anyway. And I did not comment in any way that using the rev limiter to shift would be OK. I simply stated that the rev limiter is there to keep the engine within its design parameters so that it does not catostrophically fail if the rpms spike to 15,000.
  6. the rev limiter is there for a reason, to keep the bike from over revving. Its not htat bad to momentarily hit the rev limiter. Listen closely the AMA outdoors, the whole time those bikes are in th eair they are on the rev limiter.
  7. Don't get a boost bottle, my dad got me one for christmas and I did a before and after dyno run. No change in power curve or peak power. Get some T5's so your pipes will be good with any motormods down the road and get some pod filters. And new rear tires cuz stockers aren't gonna hookup for shit.
  8. The t-9 has a re-enforcing ring on the bead of the wheel that prevents "stop signing" or making ur rims look like D's. The beadlocks will hold the tire onthe rim at extremely low air pressures and lots of side load. If you ride in a racky area I would get the bajas and at least 20" tires. If u ride on a motocross track I would get the beadlocks.

  10. I put a single carb on my shee and it is way easier push than my buddies bike with stock carbs. And the single carb is way easier to rejet.
  11. I would go with the T5's. I've got em and I go riding with someone who has fatties and when the trails get tight and twisty he is clutching the bike and downshifting a lot more than I have to. And in drag race i usually pull him by 1-2 bike lengths . He has basically the same engine setup with the single carb too. So i would get the T5's. That and Toomeys sound way better than any silencer FMF has.
  12. Hey watsup guys. My shees got T5's, stock port, new pistons (.010 over), and a trinity 35mm single carb kit. It is iding extremely low. The little black screw on the side of the carb that raises and lowers the slide is all the way in to raise the idle but it is still really low. The pilot is a 52.5 and the air screw is 1.5 turns out.   15. Eyebell engineering f**ked me over. They said they would try to have my rear shock done by friday 4/7/06 then they said it would be done for sure tuesday 4/11/06. Now those jack*sses said they won't have the parts 'til thursday and it will be done for sure on friday 4/14/06. I am leaving for glamis thursday 4/13/06. I can pay with paypal and will need shipped overnight and it will need to be shipped out tomorrow. PLEASE HELP ASAP.

  17. Just tried the air screw, turned out to 3.5 out from 1.5 out didn't work. Did not work. Thanx though. Anyone else have any suggestions.
  18. I thought the air screw was like the 0-1/4 curcuit . But it has to be the main that is rich becuase it doesn't do it until the cylinder head temp is 160+ if it is down around 145 (cylinder head temp) it will pull fine.
  19. I am at 2,200ft. elevation (Las Vegas, Nevada). The bike has T5's, .010 over wisecos and the Trinity 35mm single. It has a 190 main a 52 pilot and the needle is in the middle. It bogs severely from 2/3's throttle and up. I'm thinkin its rich but just want to make sure.
  20. I have the Dominator stuff. I was running 50:1 but I turned a needle bearing into a solid sleeve that welded itself to the crank and rod.
  21. 13oz per 5 gallons of gas is 50:1 and I run 91 octane.
  22. The tech guy at Amsoil said to run it at 50:1 cuz that is what thier race teams run. But I am not running a one roce motor so, ya. Do you guys think I should run 32:1 or 40:1. Mods are in my sig. Thanx.
  23. Sell the boost bottle and use the 50 bucks to get the head milled.
