  1. you can see if you can find a little thicker head gasket to put on it.
  2. Ideally .040"-.065"! Are you running a cool head?
  3. Use a dremel and try to grind them flat, center punch them and then drill them out with a bit. Or get an impact driver and a good p2 or 3 bit and whack em out.
  4. Run to sears with a good nut and get a rounded nut removal socket. They make all sorts of stuff, you just gotta run down to the auto parts store and sears and take a look.
  5. Well, you just got to remember, experience comes with age. I used to be 18 and I thought I knew it all too. I had to learn that I didn't know, then I had to learn everything I know now.
  6. I dont get it? I dont feel like you have been giving me shit. If you were, your not that good at it.
  7. Ok, how did you find it? I understand you did a leak test, was there physically air squirting out of the base gasket, or did you spray it with soapy water and get bubbles? How much air did you pressurize it with?
  8. Well I can tell you this. I had a drag ported dune bike that I ran in the sand and play rode. It had a stock head and I put a mopar 205 degree dummy light switch directly threaded into the coolant passages in the head. The overheat light never came on, and I know it worked.
  9. Your gonna need a good tester, warm the bike up and shut it off. Pull out both plugs and hold the throttle wide open. Kick it over 5-10 times and it shouldn't go up anymore after 10 kicks.
  10. Well, try some coolant additive now and let us know what happens.
  11. Call Larry at Skat Trak and ask him whats up. A guy I ride with has those and I think he wants to get rid of them. PM me and I can give you his email address.
  12. Maybe I will try it next weekend.
  13. I rolled mine 2 years ago and my cousin stuck his leg out and we landed on it. Needless to say it got leg minders after that. I picked it up off him and righted it by myself.
  14. Look through here, there ought ot be a pic somewhere. Out 4 Sand Link
  15. I will try this again. So do you know the base gaskets are leaking?
  16. maybe bent forks and now chipped gears.
  17. Something is probably broken in there, dont jimmy rig it.
  18. So is the high psi supposed to help for play duning, or just drag racing?
  19. we dont ever put the lower stinger bolt in, just the top one. We usually use cascade csfx silencers with those pipes since the cpi silencer is so loud.
  20. We have a couple 4 mills with long rod hot rod cranks and blaster pistons in them. They work well, just cut the extra tolerance in the cool head domes. I would probably check compression and see what it is.
  21. Oiling a K&N and runnin an outerwear will not keep water from getting through. If you ride the trails then you need to have an airbox. Outerwears are only water RESISTANT!
  22. So do you know the base gaskets are leaking. If they are the metal ones, use copper coat on them.
  23. I run them cause I never have to clean the filter if I do. No sand in it!
  24. Here is a chart. Expect to see lower numbers than it says for a 21cc dome since your starting at 115 psi essentially with a 22cc (stock)dome. Did you hold the throttle wide open and have both plugs out when you did the compression test? Approximate Cranking Compression These pressures are estimates based on fresh stock bore, piston, porting, and deck height. It is recommended to check your compression after installation.
