  1. Well my build took me awhile bc of work.. I was working some crazy crazy overtime.. The build really shouldnt take that much time at all...Everything goes back together pretty quick.. what type of riding do you do and what are you looking to get out of it?
  2. Good luck with the rebuild.Im just finishing up mine, it went pretty goood.. make sure you change all the bearings and seals... While you have it stripped you should get some gussets put in some of those weak spots on the banshee frames...What year is that shee? and yes you have a A-arms frame...
  3. Whats up man.. There was just a thread on this maybe a week or two ago... search for it, alot of people posted pics.. Here are some pics of mine though, I dont remeber how it was done, my father cut them for me, I think he used a PVC hand saw or something.. They came out awesome though...
  4. I looks pretty dumb.. I def wouldnt trust that shit.. Like Mj said not worth geting hurt over acouple $$$$
  5. Do they sell those for 33's? Also whats so good about them? Are they a different design or something? I was think about running pods, not sure though
  6. Yo0o whats up man.. I live in Staten sland. do you have any pics of it? email jojo0597@yahoo.com
  7. Do a quick search, There was just a thread going acouple of days ago about the 2 into 1 carbs setup.. Read that, it might help you with some of your questions...what type of riding do you do? If been doing alot of research on this as well, and from what I have read I believe that 33's seem to be a good choice on a ported shee, gains all around and very minimal loss on the bottom.. I just got me a set of 33pwk, havent installed them yet....
  8. Like money bangs said above.. 300-310 range. I also live at sea level, I had T5's- airbox no lid-vforce reeds.. I ran 310 mains and stock pilot...shee ran real good
  9. Well Im glad to hear that you held your own.. The new 4 strokes are fast machines.... Im thinkin I shouldnt have a prob with my buddies stock 450r and 700r raptor.. good job man...
  10. Im sure that others will agree, I would put that money that you are going to spend on the noss head into a new set of pistons, or top end... Like what was said above, 75psi is danger zone, at least pull the head of and take a look at whats going on in there..
  11. I like this thread.. I have to friends that have been talking so much trash to me, while my bike is being built.. one has the 450r and the other raptor 700r..I think the raptor has a pipe, other than that they are stock. banshee mods: passion port bored .20 over v-force reeds Noss head T5's and some other goodies. I also have 33pwk that Im not going to put in until I break the motor in and get bored... Im hoping that Im not going to have a prob with these to bikes...
  12. PROBLEM SOLVED.. Turns out the tie rods where to long.. ASR got me a new set in 3 day and they measure 13 3/4. exactly 1" shorter than what i had, they sent me +3 instead.. Know I have to get the a-arms setup right..
  13. Dont know exactly what you need, but this is the whole kit, and also of different sizes... http://www.magicracing.com/Wiseco-Piston-K...p_133-135.html#
  14. good seller.. purchased bumper- just as described.. A++
  15. Any info on a location or something for this place would be great,, thanks
  16. Yea well Im working on getting myself a set of 33 pwk.. Do you think that would be a good choice? I dont want to sacrfice and bottom end. How are aftermarket carbs easier to jet than the banshee stockers..
  17. Whats up Dude.. I had a similiar setup,Im also at sea level, My air box lid was off.. 310 main middle position on needle stock pilot- 25 And shee was pretty crisp.. Every shee is different though, keep playing with it, you'll get it right... good luck
  18. Will you sell the pingel valve? How much? Do you have a pic? thanks
  19. Cut them off.. Looks so much better with them off...Im on my 3rd banshee and I have cut them all.... Looks great...Here's some pics: I cant find any front shots on my comp...Ill post em if they pop up...
  20. Handyman, I just installed mine, which it got from ASR, they replace everything,Go from the handlebars right to the calipers, SS throughout, they are great.. I did some research, before hand as well, I actually never seen a set that didnt go straight threw.. good luck dude
  21. exactly, the t that gets mounted to the frame, is no longer needed, There should have been a special bolt (not sure what its called)included with your brake lines that both brake lines go on and then mount right to the cylinder on the handle bars...
  22. Im not really sure what the problem is, but i just recently instelled my SS brake lines as well, The two lines connect to the front master cylinder on the handle bars and run straight to the caipers, no splits or interuptions like the stockers..... Hope this helps..
  23. Im 50/50 about buying a pingel.. A few people said it might not be necesssary for my motor and riding style, but good insurnce as well. But have you ever had a problem with your leaking, I have read a few post about people saying theirs had leaked
  24. Thanks Zach. Yea I would like to throw them on and see whats up.. Maybe tom if your around we could meet up...
