Well tell me what you see and help me if you can.. I bought these carbs from member on the HQ, wont reviel his name just yet.... I just took the bowls off to check what jets where in there and clean everything and this is what I found...... What the hell happened here? I dont even know what to say.. Also the jets that where in the carbs where different.. Mains- 170rd and 170

Yea I agree, You can always add the coolhead when you get some more $$$, While you have everything apart and Jim has the motor, you might as well, wake her up a bit with some slight porting... You will be very very happy with the differnce over stock.... -

So fill us in, what is Jim doing for you, I just got my motor back from him about 3 weeks ago.. Jims a good guy, my motor took alittle longer than expected, but well worth it -
Its a really nice bumper, just put one on my buddies 450r, looks real good, the only prob is that its going to chip... No worries though just get it powdercoated again..... good choice though, makes the bike really easy to lift and move..

Sorry to hear about your bike, sucks that it was just rebuilt, but on a better note, now you have an excuse to make her Faster... good luck dude...

Thanks guys after reading the post I was like ahh I need one of those, So I went to the site put the calender in the kart, and said o0o lets see what else they got here, long story short I spent $150.00... lol

Haha aint that the truth, Once I put my flowmasters on it only got worse, Always wanting to hear it.. There really isnt much you can do for the mpg thats going to make a big enough difference that you are goin to be like wow Im saving so much money... Most truck are going to get between 8-14mpg unless your driving a diesel or something...

Dont run for money then if you are having second thoughts, you can't win them all, sometimes you'll will win and some you will loose, what do you have done to your bike? Lets say your are stock, and wanna play it safe.. How does sleeper sound.. Through a set of pipes, reeds, bump your compression,port job, timing advance etcccc and dont say anything then line em up..... :biggrin:

thanks man you answered my next question, I was concerned about burning up my motor if the pilot was to lean... im goin to leave the 30 in there for know and see if I can find a sweat spot, If not i will through the 25 in there and start over...

Yea I was up at the coal mines in PA and I was spinning like crazy, look into some razors 2 or holeshoots XCR's...If you search on here you will read nothing but good things about the razors, two of my buddies have the XCR's on there banshee's and the hook real well, Im goin to be different and go with the razors, they are both 6 ply, they both have some weight to them but not as heavy as ours, i think...

Im still running the stock air box but, No lid Right know I have it set at 2.5 out, but I was alittle nervous bc shee was barely smoking, dont know it thats okay or not...

Listen to these guys here they know there stuff... I would have did my top end myself but I needed other stuff done as well so I just sent it out.. do feel so bad with the price you got, my cousin brought his banshee to Action Yamaha in NJ, about 2 months ago for a new top end.. The did his top end bored .20 over and put a new OEM clutch in, and they said they adjusted the carbs.. Hows 1100 sound, yea my cousin his a moron, I told him not to bring it there that we would do it ourselves, he didnt want to be bothered... You can get some pretty motor work done for that price if you ask me...

Okay I need some help.. played with the pilot and air screw today, I left the 30 in there, I started at .5 out and work my way out, at .5 it was smoking alot, as I turned it out .5 at a time the bike got louder It ran the best at 2-3 turns out but it stop smoking and when i put my hand byt the pipes there wasnt much pressure comin out.... some help please? Also I did the carb trick, I pulled the choke out half way, and rode it, It got worse doesnt that mean that I am to rich on the pilot and it would be safe to lean it out?

Thanks guys, everyone has been a great help, I ordered some 27.5 pilots, wont have them till early next week, heres what happens, I have to clutch it to get the rpms up, off the start in 1st and 2nd it bogs

Yea thats what I was thinkin, cant hurt to try, whats the worse that could happen, Im buying the 27.5 anyway.. Yea I have tons of drill bits.. anways Ill keep you;s posted with the results...

yea thats doesnt sound like a bad idea, but i ordered them for the local stealership already, I will call him tom i dont mind eating the 10 that i gave the stearlership.. It cant be that hard to drill them though, i kno that there was a shop by me that used to do it , they drilled my brother 250 for him..

I need to know what size drill bit it will take to turn my stock pilot to a 27.5 I am goin riding this weekend, Im currently running a 30, and its to fat, none of the shops around me stock these and wont have them until next week.. anyone have any ides for me to try, I have no use for the 25 so It cant hurt to drill it out for know until the 27.5 comes in some time next week...

what is your elevation? Im at sea level, I had T5's and vforce reeds, no lid 300-310 mains stock pilot Even with the air lid on you might still be on the lean side... and you have slight porting..

Like said above, If you are goin to have the motor opened up, and are thinking about porting down the line, its a no brainer, its def good insurance, I believe i cost like 50 bucks or so...Get her done...

Zac what are you goin to set your at, Im thinkin that +4 is the safest for us, I run 93 octane at about 150psi.... im goin to order from Jeff bc I need some other stuff as well.
