I prefer Paul Turner Mids for trails but there kinda pricey. Toomey T-5's, DMC alien 916, and FMF fattys would also be at the top of my list. You can usually find most of these pipes used on ebay.

Yeah My wife is due in about a week. So he should be a lil over a month old for the July trip. I'll be camping. I'll probably be staying at the state campground. I like being close to town. (Beer run purposes) :beer:

I would have used Loc-Tite on the flywheel also. Its not a reverse thread on the crank. Not unless your talking about the flywheel spins forward (Left) and the nut tightens to the right?

Well.. I bought my banshee new in 99' so... i dont have any digi pics. Farthest back I can go is about 4 yrs. This is after I sold my T-5's and put a graphics kit on. This is my next build. Stock cylinder 4mil by Passion This is it now.. finished until next year plus another pic in my sig. .

Yeah but the bars compensate for the rise so it is still about the same height as stock bars.

The clamp kit bolt to the lower mounts on the stock stem.. They dont come off you just bolt down ontop of them. My Tag T2 kit is the same as the trail tech.

I'm on alky with shaws front and rear 12 1/4 front and same for the rear with a link.

My cousin broke his chain and case. I dont know if speedrip broke his chain and cases too. I know he was running all day sunday.

Well.. I'm just going by what my builder told me run. I set the bike up the way he told me from the swingarm length to the shocks. I called him up saturday night and he said I didn't have anywhere near enough tire. He said he run's 13 extremes on his bike and he has a few of his other 4mils running 14's on the softer sand. He told me if its a wet sand 13's and soft loose sand 14's.

None that I know of for the banshee. But I think a few builders are using 250r Saber jugs on banshee. But this would require some extensive case work. I saw a tripple that GRR was working on in his shop that was using stock cylinders. could just resleave them for a 68mm bore.

Couple people running them.. but no one can prove the 1.5HP over the VF. I'm going to a dyno later this month. I wish I had a set to do a Dyno run with them and see them side by side against the VF3's.

I'm using 15/40 gearing , 12pdl hauler superlights with +12 swinger launching in 2nd. It starts hooking late in 3rd and 4th but by that time i was just starting to get into the whoops and I have to let off.

We should see if we can't get another Silver Lake HQ ride together. Might get more guys now that its a little later in season and people's bikes are mostly done.

Yeah.. I figured it was like NHRA where they light'em up before the race to heat up the tires.. but I found it don't work with sand paddles Yup going to track down some 13 or 14 paddles for the next trip.

Just wondering who went out there and what bikes you were riding. I went out there but I had trouble finding anyone from the HQ. My bike was running pretty good. I know the Boss intakes are very nice and I'm sure that MajicMikes are just as nice. I prefer the intakes with the built in crossover tube. I'm thinking about trying one from White Knuckle for my 39's.

I use the Honda transmission oil, Its about 5 bucks a quart and I use Klotz Benol. I forget how much I spent on the gallon..

Jeff @ F.A.S.T Builds some very nice looking swingarms. I really liked my +8 I got from him. As far as length goes, I'm sure who ever you choose to work on the motor will recommend a length.

I got 2 5/16 quick disconnects that I got from Direct Drive That I need to get ride of. I also Got 2 extra male ends for purging. $30 shipped take it all. The disconnets have had gas ran through them for about 5 minutes and the extra male ends are brand new and never used.
