  1. Yeah, I know.. I used their Viper sleeves an had some dyno time. Its Lane's dyno if i'm not mistaken. I used to live right down the rd. from them on sashabaw. Lakes just isn't the first thing to pops into my head when someone wants porting.
  2. I dont get into long drawn out keyboard debate/battles.. If you were just trying to get a rise outta me.. then your barkin up the wrong tree.. I said what I had to say about the subject at hand.. and I left it at that. We got enough kids in here staring shit tryin to get arguments going... I'm not going to be one to contribute to it.
  3. And I tried to say that "I never cut the springs.. but...." meaning I have no experience with that and gave a different option that I was familiar with. For some reason.. My computer lags really bad on this site when I post a reply so it takes awhile for the letters to catch up to the key strokes. So I missed the ONE letter... Then you blew up... You need to relax a bit. I admitted it was a typo and not what I wanted to say, then I get another sarcastic comment back. On the contrary.. I did not give bad advice/information in any way..
  4. I've dealt with lakes also.. but I noticed he wanted a port job also..
  5. A&S, RDZ, RB racing are a few off the top of my head.
  6. I'd give modquad a call.
  7. Yep.. Tim is the type of guy this industry needs.... He's a bad ass chassis builder and a good friend. He's helped me out on more then one occasion.. I just might be sporting the first stellar rigid in MI next year!!
  8. Thats just what people say when they take the easy way out of giving bad information..
  9. I'll take the master cylinder PM sent
  10. sorry sunshine.. Didn't mean to piss on your glass slippers..
  11. There is no hiding a DM..
  12. Judging from your posts (not your post count).. It sounds like you got in over head. Can we ask why you pulled the order from trinity? DM's are not just a bolt on and go setup. If you think your loosing your mind now.. wait till you start putting this together and try to get it tuned. Lots of people use epoxy on the cases.. its not that big of a deal. What size rods does your crank use? I noticed your using inframe pipes. You sure they will work with this engine? Also.. I didn't notice any transmission mods in your sig.
  13. How much for just the rear master cylinder
  14. If you shorten the swing arm.. you'll just hit the bar harder.. whats your rider weight? How high do you have the wheel? sounds like some chassis adjustments could help.
  15. Easy turbo.... I recommend you lighten up.... It was a typo. It was supposed to say "I never cut the springs" I run 6 Toomey srpings and added weight to the lock up. I slip the clutch manually. I run 3 different tracks.. Track conditions are different at each track not to mention track conditions change alot through out the day. Thats the difference between a good rider and a average rider. Anyone can dump the clutch and go.
  16. I really liked my PT hi-revs for the dunes..... Figured I throw that out there.
  17. Never cut the springs.. but.. if you start alternating HD springs with stock springs.. you get the same effect.
  18. cascades stuffer and a stock stuffer.
  19. $100 for the full set of shaws.
  20. I'll be there early friday morning aswell.. I gotta get a babysitter and spend the day putting my bike back together. I wish I had somone that lived up here to split gas with me.. I take 75 S to 69 to 96. So if there is anyone along that route..
  21. Yep.. as long as the gap isn't excessive. My VF3's were the same way. if you have a lil gap.. flip them over and get it as close as possible.. but it dont mean the reed is junk. Fraying, cracking or chipping is a no brainer... thats junk. I could see light through the reeds themselves on my new VF3's Its no big deal.. (unless its frayed, cracked or dhipped)
  22. I like the maxima chain wax.. also like the bel-ray super clean chain lube.. Thats the 2 we use at the dealer.
