  1. Well.. I was just going to go for some TNT. But if everyone is coming to SL then I'll see if I can't get some TNT done at WMSD or the dunes. would be good to stay near my tools if possible.
  2. Me and Boo will be there on the 16th thru teh 26th. So earlier is fine with us.
  3. Only time mine dont spin is when I'm in neautral with the clutch in. Other then that its always spining.
  4. I've used both heads and liked them both.. Dave and Jerry are both great guys and have great customer service. You'll be happy with either one.
  5. I think thier just the stock cylinders with the vito's 404 kit installed. Either way.. Some good information to get you going in the right direction. Get the proper head gasket check squish and compression. If that is in check.. do a leak down.
  6. I would say no.. But the addition of a lockup may cuase other problems such as oil not reaching the plates fast enough or extra roating mass. I'm not saying these are the problems.. I'm just saying that the lockup doesn't make it harder to SHIFT from the extra force it applies to the pressure plate. I think it may compound a problem that is already existant in a high HP motor, otherwise.. this problem would happen even with low HP bikes.
  7. Creep can be caused by alot of things. The lockup applies pressure to the pressure plate and the pressure plate only. When the clutch lever is pulled in.. the push rod/ball push the plate off from the pack. So at that point all pressure is releived from the pack and would be transfered to the pushrod and ball. Which is why when you use a lockup or all 6 HD springs you should use the pancake bearing as it becomes more likely to weld.
  8. Might want to check to make sure it is properly adjusted.
  9. The lockup applies no pressure to the plates when the clutch is pulled in.
  10. just dont go on any long trips.. you'll burn through a tank before you know it.
  11. well... hopefully they dont bother the people who take their bikes out in trucks.. If they turn me away.. I'll ask to see calibration sheets or try to find some stupid loop hole.. Some how.. I think that lil vibrating needle can't be accurate. I know my cousin choked one of his cylinders and his passed with flying colors.
  12. Oh yeah.. We should be ready.. if not.. we'll ship parts to the campground again.. lol Actually.. I will be having a new slingshot delivered to Jellystone!! lol Me and Boo started a tradition for our silver lake tirps.. Every time we go.. we leave a old part that was replaced that weekend. Boo left a sprocket hanging from the tree last trip.
  13. did the throttle cable go with the carbs? Also PM me your paypal address and I'll send that payment through for the other parts.
  14. ok... now I'm really confused....
  15. Did you need the plate and ruber gasket? or is it the wrong size fitting? I have the plate and rubber gasket from mine when I switched to a aluminum tank.
  16. Yeah when I first saw the kevlars.. I told the guy "looks like your tires are gettin a bit worn down" he just laughed at me and told me what they were. And I agree with you.. I think the 12pdl haulers w/kevlar is too much tire for a dune port.
  17. No.. extremes are thicker which makes the blades more rigid.. but they dont have kevlar mesh. kevlar is a option that is 8.50 per blade. Here is some pics of extreme with kevlar.. not the greatest pictures of them but you can see the mesh at the base of the blades.. and if you saw the front side you can clearly see the mesh. All the white on the tire is the kevlar. No microscoped needed. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...6&hl=kevlar
  18. I got both.. $50 shipped
  19. Try Tim @ stellar if he can't. try Tyson racing.
  20. the only thing that has changed on them is the plug ends.. I'm not exactly sure on the years.but I think its 89-94 then 95-96 and they changed it again for 97-06' again.. not 100% on the years of the change..
  21. Thats not true. Kevlar is a option and can be added to any paddle. They are actually quite distinctive in their looks compared to paddles without Kevlar. You can actually see the kevlar mesh in the blades.
  22. I just buy OEM.. its about 10.00 cheaper.
  23. I didn't have a problem.. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...hlite=%2Bclutch
  24. not that weekend.. I'll be there the following 2 weekends though.
  25. Not to mention.. there was a thread about this same topic about 2-3 weeks ago.
