  1. sounds like your air screw and pilot need to be adjusted. what needle are you using?
  2. He'd start for sure in detroit! lol
  3. You'd loose alot of bottom end and throttle response with a carb that big. 28 or 33 pwks would be a better choice in my opinion.
  4. I dunno.. pet store to adopt a dog? He might be a cat kinda guy now though.. huh?
  5. I agree. Chassis setup is critical. Its very important to match the chassis to the motor. Stock unmodded chassis are only good up to a 10mil cub in my opinion. Anything bigger is just asking for problems.
  6. Its a joke from a long time ago about guys building big motors and stuffing them into stock chassis with short swing arms and no bars.
  7. huh.. I thought I made a post in this thread.. But.. heres my advice.. What JD said. Also.. I think Jeff sells the modded stars.
  8. Wow... that was harsh... PS.. I hate Micheal Jordan, I thought he was overated.
  9. It depends on what reeds you replace them with. If you install the stop with the boyesen dual stage reeds it really hurts the performance. The rev plate replaces the stops.
  10. I'm not on the Favre wagon.. but... Gotta respect what the guy did.. even last season he had carrer games and is a above average QB. He could have helped Min. next season.
  11. It dont really matter. I alternate mine so that the reccessed area doesn't over lap the next
  12. I'm running a 7plate Tusk kit in my setup and it didn't slip. But I'm also using a slingshot locker too.
  13. Bel Ray makes some quality oils.. You just bought the bottom grade. Thats like chooseing yamalube 2S to use for premix instead of 2R. The Bel Ray H1R is a good oil.. We've used it for years in all the new bikes at our dealer. Never been fond of Torco products myself either.. I wont even run their race fuel.
  14. A good opinion to get would be from the guy who is doing the motor work. He would know what tires works best with his setups.. Just outa curiosity.. who's doing the portwork?
  15. Didn't get any PM's from ya and I already made a deal with another member. Thanks though
  16. I agree with Tyler. The parts arn't needed. A good basket. OEM PP and innner hub with a good lockup work just fine with a 7 plate. But.. if you got money burning a hole in your pocket.. by all means.. Go ahead.
  17. You said it was on Gas last time. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...=116692&hl= You are probably talking about Ray's 4mil with the 16 stagerds... I wouldn't use that as a guidline. He'll be the first to tell you that every track is different.. What works at one track might not work at another. He brought that bike to our tracks here and it was WAY too much paddle. He turned faster times with 14's, and probably would have turned better times with 12 or 13's. I still say 14 or 16 extremes will be plenty.. if you want rippers.. maybe a 12 ripper. Since your not running a bar and its in a stock chassis.. stay away from the more agressive tires. my 4mil with 13 extremes and a +12 arm was always reachin for the sky.. What you think a DM is gonna do with a similar chassis setup with ALOT more tire??
  18. My opinion would be 14 extremes for no bar.. and 16 extremes with a bar. He left out that this motor would be run on gas..
  19. Any luck on the super mario motor?
  20. Can't give you suggestions if we dont know anything about chassis setup, type of riding, what type of surfaces, gearing that will be used, Primary ratio's and other odds and ends of info that is being left out.
  21. I agree.. 28pwks are a great carb and work great on stock and ported cylinders.
  22. I might make this one.. we'll see how things pan out.
  23. Good billet basket and OEM parts with a 7plate will work just fine.
  24. if you want to trade send me a PM so we can work out the details.
