I use Redline alky premix.. Its specifically made for alky premix applications.

That dont sound like the right needle.. Kiehin uses three letters like DEK or EGK stuff like that.. I'd find out what the factor needle is supposed to be and start with that.. Its been along time since I've used the 28pwks.. but I know that isn't the factory needle. Even with 50 pilots.. you still could be lean on the pilot.. I would normally say a air leak could be the problem but.. you said you've used other carbs with no issues.. but.. Couldn't hurt to do a leak down and rule it out. If the engine does return back to a normal idle rpm.. it just takes longer then normal.. I dont think it would be idle screws. Thats a sure sign of a lean condition.

I dont know about you guys.. but I found myself in more bad situations from the twist then I have from a thumb.. I switched back to a thumb after my last near accident that could have costed me ALOT of money... lol There is a few mods that can be done to lighten the pull on the thumb throttles..

Well.. Vito's actually has 2 different aftermarket cylinders out there.. one is a mono-block and the other isn't.. I know the Mono-block has drag port durations.. I'm not sure what the durations are on the other setup.. depending on what the stock durations are.. a "dune port" or "agressive woods port" may be a option.

I agree.. I've noticed he's been doing that alot lately....

We've always considered piston slap a loose bore.. (skits slaping the walls) Which could be possible if the pistons were installed into cylinders that were setup for forged pistons. The casted pistons tend to be more resilient against cold seize since they dont swell like the forged pistons do, hence the tighter tolerances. As long as the bore was properly setup you shouldn't get piston slap. Pistons dont look too bad.. I've seen worse. Mic'em out and see what the specs are. WSM are good pistons. I wouldn't worry about the quality of them.. I'd be more concerned with the bore specs.

Why.. cuz 33pwks are hard to come by used.. and everyone always bashes 34pj's.. You see 35 and 38/39pwks all day long since they came stock on many of the dirt bikes and sleds. Everyone has their preference on setups... I actually prefer 28pwks on all my builds. dune/trails. 33pwks would be the largest I would go for anything short of a drag build.

Yeah them are my dune tires.. the 18" tires on the 10x2's dont float very well.. So I use the 21" tires for the dunes and the 18's for the track. This chassis is EXTREMELY compact, along with the front end being all aluminum except for the lower arms helps keep it very light. Ziggy did well designing these chassis's.

I use degreaser and let it soak like what was said.. but then I use a power washer. I stand back about 3ft when I'm hitting some of the gasket areas. If its like the swinger or a-arms I'll get close but I'm carefull around the seals and stuff.
