C'mon guys.. Your killing the value of my YFZ shocks that I'm trying to sell!! The YFZ conversion is the best thing since sliced bread!! lol No.. I agree with you guys.. I think the YFZ conversion is a bad idea too..
But..
I got Mint YFZ shocks.. Very little time on them and have had shock wears on them since it left the dealer!
$350 to your door!
There is a certain point when you air down that you'll strat folding blades.. But that depends on the tires. The extremes can be ran at lower pressure then the haulers since the blades are thicker at the base which resists folding.. I have ran my 72ro extremes with 1.5lbs..
I got a polished 2.5" sparky that I'll sell for 40 shipped.. Save ya some coin compared to the 75 you'll pay at duneland.. All I got is one though.. let me know.
They're nothing new.. Been around awhile now. They are better then a modded stock cover which in time can leak.
I'll be getting one from them for the new build pretty quick.. As always.. a great product from Direct Drive..
I got a set of YFZ shocks I might be willing to trade.. whats the distance eye to eye on a YFZ compared to a banshee?
Do you know what weight the works shocks were setup for?
I think she posted this in the wrong section.. lol Marysville is a 300ft track.
Probably gonna need more tire then that.. With my fat ass on a 421 I was using 13 extremes and a +12 swinger. Gearing willl proll be in the 15/40 area.. leaving in 2nd.
Heres my advice.. When the last yellow lights... go.. lol if you wait for the green.. you'll get tree'd. If its a pro-tree.. as soon as you see all 3 yellows light.. go.
I had 310 mains.. stock needles on 4th clip (from blunt end) and pilots were 27.5's.. Motor had T-5's, K&N, and VF2's.. Compression was 135ish and elevation was around 500ft. Hope this helps.
